How do I replace the stock Psionic spells with new ones of my choice see the text in red below
Aberrant Mind - Psionic Spells
Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Psionic Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a divination or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.
While I was able to create an Aberrant Mind sorcerer in this campaign (I guess DM purchased all the context)
When I try to create a Homebrew Sorcerer Subclass from an existing template I only see Draconic Bloodline
Is this because I have not purchased anything?
Is there a way for the DM to allow me to create subclasses from content enabled for their campaign?
Or can the DM create a subclass but somehow allow me to edit it as I progress levels (so I can keep swapping spells) asking them to create and keep updating it for me as I level up seems like too much work for the DM
You can only use free content and content you have purchased as templates for homebrews. Your DM will need to create the subclass for you. If they set it up properly you should be able to choose your spells.
Sadly, this seems to be standard fare these days. Given the extreme prices charged for the digital content here, the very least a loyal buyer might expect, would be bare basic functionality. Rules as written.
Today, in 2025, there's a laundry list longer than all my limbs combined, of features or fixes "coming soon"... from content released nearly half a decade ago. Sure, some of it can be fixed with homebrew workarounds; and I don't think anyone expects perfection.
Though as long as folks continue buying digital content, working or not, there is very little incentive for Wizards to change their current modus operandi.
Speaking only for myself, this issue - stretched across many years, subclasses, feats and other features - is exactly why I stopped buying here, some years ago. I'm not suggesting others do the same, but complaints (like this one) only ever seem to fall on deaf ears.
As the very public events of the past few years have proven, to get results, you have to speak to Wizards through your wallet.
Given that the "you can swap these spells" part was removed for the 2024 version of Aberrant Mind and Clockwork subclasses, I suspect they will not be fixing this issue.

Exactly right. Certainly doesn't encourage enthusiasm for new products, knowing of all the legacy features folks paid for years ago that are still not implemented, and probably never will be.
Wonder what new features from the 2024 books won't be implemented as written?

Thanks so much this (while a tedious workaround) really helped me make my character work.
Can't wait until they add a feature for this natively
I tried this on my character www.dndbeyond.com/characters/97916631/zJWPG1

Content Troubleshooting
So surprised this is still an issue is there really no true fix yet?
Seriously though. I had to search this up. Can't believe they've never addressed it.
I appreciate the influx of new content, but I'd much rather have base stuff like this fixed and the Monk's ki DC registering buffs from magic items.
As far as I have tried there still is no fix for this in 2025 and now we have a whole new edition.

Frequently flippant; sorry for being an apologist.
