One of my players is arguing that he should have a passive insight of 21 since he has a Wis of 14 or +2 and has proficiently for insight checks or +4 and is a level 10 character lvl4 Paladin, lvl4 Rune Knight with the stone rune that gives him advantage on insight checks saying that in the players hand book it mentions that if a character has advantage on a skill they have an additional +5 on the corresponding passive checks this would mean that the calculation would be 10 + 2 + 4 + 5 = 21. But his character sheet only shows a 16. Here is a link for the character sheet:
Looks like this is a general bug, advantage on insight is not granting the +5 to the passive check even if the advantage is not comming from the rune knight (e.g ring of truth telling also doesn't grant it)
For some reason it works for Perception and Investigation, but not Insight. They forgot to program it for Insight when they built the site and now it’s too hard coded to change it or whatever.
Hello it seems that when you take the fire rune and frost rune when going rune knight you get all of the proficiency's with expertise is this a bug or did ii not read carefully enough. For reference I do have proficiency's with leather workers and smith tools which could explain why I am getting the rest. I would understand some but not all
Hello I found the answer. The fire rune give proficiency with task that you have the tools to do it with for instance thief tool give you the Proficiency with the stealth part which i how it is suppose to work i just had a few extra tool proficiency.
