I seem to logged into the same profiles on the app on my tablet, and the website on my PC (I just changed my nickname and it synced over so I'm sure) but the characters that are loaded on each format are only the ones that were created on the respective device. Is there a way I need to sync them? I would have thought that if my name changed automatically that the characters would do the same.

Update: My profile has now switched to the one character from my tablet being on my PC too, but the ones that were on my PC are gone...Luckily I have a bookmark on the character sheet for the other one I'm currently playing.

The app is not updated in real time, it typically only syncs once each night when the device syncs with its server.

It has been this way for a while unfortunately, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't have synced by now.

After reading your update it seems like you were inadvertently logged into an alt account on one of your devices. It can happen quite easily simply by logging into DDB through a different login method (Twitch, Google, Apple, Wizards). Try logging out on your computer and logging back in under the various login methods to determine if that was the case.
