If I am using the Maps VTT is it possible to type text on a map?
No.
You can draw/write what you want. But there is no way to type text into the maps.

Getting a lovely Internal Server 500 Error - did they relocate the changelog?
No, when I made that I just copy-pasted the URLs and relied on the forum to automatically change them into links. It decided to add the space at the end into the link and while that used to be OK, it no longer is.
I have edited the post to remove the spaces and used the link button to make the links only the URLs. They should now work.

You can also just click on the little icon of a pencil with a circling arrow around it at the top of the screen, next to the notifications icon.
