Badeye mentioned in another thread that desktop view is now not supposed to be an option (at least not in the character sheet). This is apparently because the desktop view doesn't play nicely on mobile devices. I use an iPad at the table, and I wish it were available, too.
Depending on your mobile device and browser, you might have the option to switch to desktop mode built into the browser. This is where it belongs, in my opinion, rather than as an option within the website.
I don't mind it being disabled for the character sheets. But it is a must for PbP as you can't see the dice roller and other tools unless you turn your phone to landscape, which (at least for my phone) is a pain in the rear.
I use mobile view when in character or homebrew creation and desktop view when in PbP.

You're right, that does work and I can keep the PbP pages on desktop view (assuming I leave them open) and use the rest of the site on mobile view.
I switch back and forth between mobile view and desktop all the time. Now there isn't a way to switch back to desktop view
Hi there Flyingmatthew,
I just checked on my own mobile and it looks like the "Desktop View" option on the menu has been replaced by "Sign Out"
I'll check with staff on Monday.

Makes sense.

Another thing you can't do in moble view is unsubscribe (or subscribe) to a forum.
I had posted a bug to the new character sheet bug forum, and was getting several emails an hour that I didn't need.
Also can’t edit campaign description from mobile
