Hello, I'm making a character that is sort of an Arcane trickster/Druid combination. Its more like a Rogue and it uses the Rogue class as a template for this subclass. I made a feat to give it a "Wild Shape" type of feature that has 2 charges. Im getting an error when I select the subclass in my collection. It says "This Homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the required levels to Publish."
Im not sure how this is possible, when I made the feat, I made it lvl 3 for every option that requires a level field. This feat is supposed to unlock when the player chooses the subclass at lvl 3. Im using the Rogue class as a template for this subclass. Furthermore, Im not even trying to Publish it, I just want to use it in my homebrew campaign with my friends. Yet I STILL cant see it when I make a new lvl 3 Rogue. I made a subclass last year and threw a bunch of stuff into it randomly and it worked fine. Now it wont even work with just a simple feature that gives me two usable charges.
I already looked at all the old DnDBeyond Forum posts and none of them answer this issue, as they all seem to be about publishing. I dont care about Publishing it I just wanna use it. I even found a Reddit post with the same issue and it never got resolved. The closest Ive got to a forum that makes sense is they said Id have to replace a regular Rogue feat at lvl 3 for this feat to show up, but when I click the "Replace" on the feat type, there are no other feats listed that I can replace. So I just left it as a "Granted" feat. This all seems needlessly confusing, and I cant pick the sublass at all when choosing my lvl 3 subclass.
