Yesterday, Description boxes were working fine. This morning the bug is back and I cannot type in Note & Appearance boxes . . .

Trust WotC to be unable to maintain digital services.

It appears to be related to auto-save. As soon as I type anything it jumps out of the Entry Area to update "Unsaved Changes" then if I try to click back in it auto saves and does it again. Each keystroke it updates the "Save" area be it to "Unsaved Changes" or to "Saved", and each time it jumps to the end of all text regardless of where the cursor is and generally eats an input. I can't help but think if you could turn off auto-save you could at least make the character sheet usable for notes again, but since you cannot that is speculation.

If you got to something that doesn't auto-save so much (Like "Characteristics and Details" or editing homebrew) typing works fine. Note this is browser only, the android app appears to be working. The closest work around I've come up with is to go to "Manage Character & levels", "Background" and use that to enter notes.

  I discovered that if I enter data in builder mode, it seems to work. In Character Sheet mode, it doesn't.

Three of our party were also having this issue, and wasnt resolved with a browser change, or clearing caches. Hope they fix soon. i got notes to make!

Update: As of Sept. 30, 2024 9:57 am EST, Notes and appearances still are not working preoperly. And WotC want to go Digital when they cannot repair/maintain what they already have.

I'll post another update tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how many weeks (?months?) it takes WotC to fix this issue.
