I made a level 11 Life Cleric using the new 2024 content a few days ago. Today I noticed the spell Aid now appears twice on my character sheet. I don't have any abilities/items that let me cast Aid using charges or give me free castings/uses of the spell, there is no reason for it to appear twice. To my knowledge it's a spell that is automatically prepared as part of the Life Cleric subclass, I didn't even pick it while choosing which spells to prepare.
Any idea why this might be happening or how to solve this issue. I tried eliminating the class entirely and adding it again and the problem persisted.
I never chose Aid. It was just added to my prepared spells as part of the Life Cleric subclass. And now it appears twice (which none of the other spells added by the subclass do).
I also don't have 2014 (Legacy) content enabled for this character sheet.
I don't know about the Druid issue you are referencing.

Whoops, sorry thought we were talking about a druid character for a second here.
I'm not sure if it's not that. Perhaps DDB made the same mistake I did and put the druid code in the wrong place, or maybe it's just a glitch.
Yes I have the same problem with a Cleric. I did not have Aid previously and I don't think I gain it from anything else other than Life Domain. Chose Life Domain at Level 3 and now I have Aid prepared twice. Both say "always prepared" and can't remove. Pretty sure this is a bug, hoping they fix soon.
Do me a favour: click on the Aid spell, and in the sidebar that opens check if it says "Source: Player’s Handbook, pg. 239" - if it says "Version" or anything different, then it is homebrew that has been poorly created.
Homebrew is shared with everyone in the same campaign, and if somebody made a copy of the spell but added the Life subclass in the "available for classes" box in that spell, meaning it will add this homebrew version, in addition the normal one, to anyone who uses the Life domain for their cleric.
Or check you're using the official life domain not a homebrew copy (coz, again, homebrew is automatically shared).
Also check the spell isn't coming from a different source like a feat, species, etc.

Alright, hear me out. I solved the problem for my player. Here is what happen: Yesterday we were creating her character together. I made changes to it at the same time she did. Here I noticed the problem. When we were done we saw the double spells. I thought it must be a bug. Today, I wanted it resolved. I posted on the forum and then I went to the character creation page. This is a warlock, the spells where the eldritch invocations under Pact of Tome. I chose "armor of shadows" but the choice "Pact of tome" remained. I chose yet something else, and "armor of shadows" appreared as my choice. Do you see where I'm going? The previous choice is what apprears. I saved under Armor because there was no spells choice to be made there. It saved, I opened the character sheet, everything was fine. I went back, choose Pact of Tome, choose the spells my player had chosen perviously. Saved, checked the sheet, no double spells. Everything looked fine.
I think us working together on the same character sheet at the same time might have had something to do with it. Anyway the issue is solved. Thx for checking in, I appreciate it.
For the sources, we are not using Homebrew. We chose Core Rules and only those because we are beginners.

I can think of two reasons.
1. DndBeyond finally fixed the Druid aid issue, but it appears twice if you choose it as a spell again.
2. You accidentally chose both legacy and 2024 Aid; or just legacy Aid and 2024 Aid, from the Druid class feature, got added automatically.

October 2025... still not fixed.
I can't replicate the issue.
