So, I have a 4th-level Paladin (3 x 1st-level spell slots). I added one level of Bard (2 x 1st-level spell slots). My character sheet now gives me 4 x 1st-level spell slots and 2 x 2nd-level spell slots (!!). Any idea what's going on there?
The PHB on DDB includes both of those, but the free Basic Rules don’t include those two subclasses, so the basic rules don’t mention them. (If you download the Basic Rules directly from WotC they aren’t mentioned there either.)
I have a warlock of the tome level 3 and sorcerer level 1. the 1st level spell slots are not correct only showing 2 slots for 1st level and it should be 4 .
Warlocks have pact magic, which works a bit differently. They don't mix, but you can use either your pact magic or your spell slots to cast either (see the multiclass section on pact magic). So you've got 2 2nd-level slots since you're a 3rd-level warlock, plus 2 1st level slots for being a sorcerer.
yes I under stand that. the phb also states that the pact magic slots can be used to cast the sorcerer spells. but the dnd beyond still is not showing the 2 spell slots for my first level sorcerer spells, it is only showing my pact magic spell slots, the slots for my sorcerer level are no sowing up on my character sheet in DnD beyond.
it is on the site. checked it today and it is fixed and reading like you stated. Before it was saying pact for both levels. Thank you all for your assistance and your reponses.

That is how is supposed to work.

Huh. I can't believe I've never read that part of the rulebook before.
Thanks.
Why does the PHB include the Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster, but not Dnd beyond?

Give the link to your character sheet (full url not share link) so someone can take a look.
Edit: I tried testing on a character, Warlock 3 Sorcerer 1. You should see in the Spells section:
1ST LEVEL [ ] [ ] SLOTS
(your sorcerer spells)
2ND LEVEL [ ] [ ] PACT
(your warlock spells)
Also, is this on the site or in the mobile app?
