Sending Stones and Sending Stone -
The old sending stones we know and love now have a similarly named but quirkier cousin with this new sourcebook, the sending stone.
Please note this new Sending Stone is only available to those who choose the Secretarian Role within Acquisitions Incorporated. Those found in possession of a Secretarian’s Sending Stone without permission will be sent to Head Office.
Company Positions -
Company Positions are not currently built into the builder. It is planned that they will be implemented as part of the "General Features System." Magic items exist which represent those gained from your character's company position and can be added to your character sheet.
Example: If your character is the company's Cartographer, add the additional tool proficiency to your character in the Character Sheet by clicking on the "Proficiencies & Languages" section, add the cartographer's tools, and note or refer back to Acquisitions Incorporated for the additional benefits gained from the Position.
Royalty Components -
In Acquisitions Incorporated you might see some spells with a new Component like below.
Components: V, S, R (1 gp)
These spells feature Royalties, which are explained HERE.
PLEASE NOTE – Royalty Costs are not automatically deducted from your current gold and will require you to manually remove the cost when you cast the spell.
Verdan -
Everyone is excited to play this new strange and wonderful race, but you might be asking how do I change my size from Small to Medium at level 5?
Not to worry! The Magic of D&D Beyond means your Size class will change automatically when you reach 5th level.
Other Notes
Acid Spray Gun. (click on the spoiler below to view)
In the Clean-up Crew encounter in Episode 2, there is an Acid Spray Gun that has some statistics and it is noted that the characters can take it. The Acid Spray Gun has not been created on D&D Beyond, as there are insufficient stats for us to do so (we would have to make up a gp value and weight for it, amongst other things). If characters take this, we recommend adding a custom attack to the character sheet, using the following values:
Range: ranged Stat: - Dice Count: 2 Die Type: 6 Fixed Value: Damage Type: Acid Save Type: DEX Fixed Save DC: 10 Spell Range Type: - Range: 10 AoE Type: Cone AoE Size: 10 Activation Type: Action Activation Time: Affected by Martial Arts: Proficient: Display as Attack: ✔ Name: Acid Spray Gun
The end of description quote for the Six and the one for Silver Sliver are mixed up. (Unless it was intended?) "
I feel like making your company’s name a tongue twister is a bold move in this marketplace. I wouldn’t have done that. I’ve told the Silver Sliver on multiple occasions that I’m available for consulting on things like this. No response, though. The organization is said to be headed up by someone named Glimmr Violente: a woman devoted to not just the cause of justice in the abstract, but the literal application of justice via a scimitar. Her band of true believers do the whole shiny mask thing and don’t charge for their services … which is another thing I wouldn’t do."
The Hoardsperson, Loremonger, Obviator, Occultant and Secretarian feature list has an extra line break in the features for the first rank, while the Cartographer, Decisionist and Documancer don't. (I suspect the latter being the correct way.)

Thank you for your initiative in recommending this change to Head Office. A clerk has been despatched to make the relevant formatting changes, as consistency is an important corporate value.
I have a question concerning Acquisitions Incorporated Vehicles. I can access Battle Balloon and Mechanical Beholder in the sourcebook etc. but they donotappear in character sheet manage extras area (vehicles) like the Saltmarsh vehiclesGalley, Keelboat, etc. do. So is this a bug or something that should be coming later on???

Head Office has said that the Hanger Doors are a little stuck at the moment. We are working on this one and it should come along down the line.
I have an issue trying to put the Loremonger's Whisper Jar item into a characters inventory.
Please try again, it seems that an intern forgot to check a checkbox. I mean, checkboxes only have one purpose, right? They're there to be checked, but .... this one wasn't.
Anyways, the checkbox is now checked and the Whisper Jar should be equippable.
I have seen some Reviews online of the book and it would seem the appendix on monsters in the print have more monsters than the appendix here on DDB. Also, I can see the monsters if I go to "buy" the book but not under appendix.

Hi there Aldosama,
I can assure you that the printed sourcebook and the digital sourcebook on D&D Beyond have the same content.
Some of the monsters in Acquisitions Incorporated, like many published adventures, aren't in the appendices - the stat blocks are presented during the adventure, typically in the manner, "New Monster is a Old Monster but with the following changes" - all of these have been built out on D&D Beyond as monsters so you can see the full stat blocks without having to modify them yourself.
Is there a road map for adding company positions as a option in the character builder with accompanying toggle to turn AI content on or off (previously mentioned by Woodja)? if not, could franchise rank be added into the magic items as a drop-down so users more readily know what is available to them?

Loving the new book, however, can we get a toggle on the initial character creation page for this source (similar to MTG/Eberron/CR)?

is under the Six.
Thanks for the report on that - I hope you're enjoying Acq Inc!
I've switched those flavor text quotes from Omin Dran back to where he intended them to be.

I looked in the items directory and it was there, but unavailable in character sheets.
Is there a checkbox I'm forgetting to check or is this a different issue.
