When I either try to create a character, view, or edit any characters it will meet me with a error 500 screen or with an endless loading wheel
Try logging out and logging back in again. If this doesn't clear things, post the full url of an effected character and a moderator can take a look.

Are either of you using a VPN, an adblocker, or any browser extensions? If so, try turning them all off and see if it works for you.
