I've been messing around with the character creator for the past few days, and I've encountered a problem. In making a multi-classed level 17 Warlock (Pact of the Blade) and level 3 Fighter (Eldritch Knight), my spell tab on the character sheet lack any spells from 2nd through 4th level, and seems to have too few 1st level spells. I would guess that that the two classes spellcasting tables somehow class, but as I've never actually played the D&D as a TTRPG, I'm not that sure of the rules and so if this is actually intended or not. If so could anyone point out where I've gone wrong? Thanks!
All of a warlock's spell slots are at the maximum level at all times. At level 17, that's 4 5th-level spell slots. At 3rd level Eldritch Knight, that's 2 1st-level spell slots. Therefore, you don't have any 2nd-4th level spell slots. All of your 2nd-4th level spells from Warlock should show up under your 5th-level spells section, because you have to use those slots in order to cast them.
I see. What's confusing me then is if it'd be possible to cast Warlock spells like "hex" and "arms of hadar" using the spell slots gained from another class, which in this case is Eldritch Knight. And conversely, would it be possible to cast spells like "absorb elements" known to the Eldritch Knight with a Warlock spell slot - level five or otherwise - as is suggested by the tab?

Thanks for the response.

Thanks a bunch! I'll admit I'm a bit embarrassed this information was so readily available, but lesson learned at the very least.
It's fine. There are a lot of rules, and you can't expect new players to familiarize themselves with all of them before playing.
