Hi. On menu > game rules > races i see the Eberron subraces even though I did not purchase Wayfinders Guide to Eberron. I only purchased one race , the changeling, as an exception to one player who really wanted to play one. I have the DM subscription and this is confusing some of my players thinking they can be played but they are not as I am only interested in the forgotten realms setting at the moment.
If you tell you players to turn on playtest and Eberron material on the Home tab of the builder, that will screen those choices out for them. (Obviously, not the one who wants to be a changeling)

a number of the Eberron races were also published as Unearthed Arcana playtest rules, which is the reason you and others have access to them.
Hello. It should be be clearly marked that it is UA right? These are not. For example for half elf i see info on mark of detection half elf, house medani, mark of storm half elf, and house lyrandar. My players are instructed to turn off playtest and eberron content in the character builder. But i have some that got excited reading about them in the game rules section only to be disappointed that they cant play it. If it is indeed UA it should be clearly marked. If these are indeed eberron sub races, i should not be able to see them since i havent purchased them

Eberron is in a weird Schrodinger's cat state. The races are both UA playtest and purchasible in WGtE. Both refer to the same options.
