I have an artificer in my campaign that used an armor infusion on the Paladin's armor. I know how to use an infusion and equip the item for the artificer himself, but is there a way that I can show the infusion as used on the artificer's sheet, and give the +1 to the Paladin's armor as well? or do they need to be tracked separately?
So this makes sense with armor and weapons but what about giving the party wizard the enhanced arcane focus?
You will probably have to homebrew that one. Start with wand of the war mage and remove the +1 to spell save DC. Ignoring cover doesn't have a modifier.
It is disappointing that D&D Beyond hasn't simply added the artificer infusions as magic items even now over a year later, it is very irritating having to homebrew an item every time I want to give an infusion to my party members.

Ironically, they did make infusions magic items when artificer was UA.
Of course that had the problem of everyone thinking they were just normal magic items and using them without an artificer (not that there is a problem with that, but it is homebrew and no one realized it).
So I am just looking for clarification real quick, so a artificer can have multiple of the same infusion (i.e. +1 armor) that they give to both themself and others, BUT there is not a way to track that on DDB rn? just wanna make sure I am getting my information correct. TY4 your time.

From the Infuse Item class feature: "[...]each of your infusions can be in only one object at a time." So you can use the Enhance Armor infusion on only 1 piece of armor. Right now you can track what infusions you have in use in the Infusions section of your Inventory, but there isn't currently a way in DDB to put the infused item into someone else's inventory.

I've been browsing a lot of topics to prepare for a new campaign I'm starting, and I'm in disbelief over how many features are missing from DNDB. Dark Gifts, Boons, updating payment options, and now I find this doozy. They put so much back on paying customers and just expect us to solve every one of their problems with janky Homebrew options, and those don't eve cover everything needed. At the very least, they could pay one data entry person to have a master Homebrew account, create all these things as an official option that we can all trust that it works and won't be changed or deleted, or have to take our time duct taping their system.

Does it help any to hear that DDB is actively working on the system revamp that will make most of those features doable?

I totally understand where you are coming from - there is several additional elements not yet available, however the team are working on a number of these elements. One of the teams end of last year implemented a new Billing back end, so things like updating payment options is possible (for new subs, we are doing a slow migration over to make sure things don't break). Dark Gifts/Boons and similar are awaiting a General Features System. Infusions... Well, they are something we would love to see as the ability to share to others. Currently this is built directly into the class, so the team would need a shared inventory feature and a way to move something across with tagging class features over (I know it's on the wish list!)
Whilst in theory, yes one of us could sit there and manually enter homebrew and publish it under an account; this actually would cause more problems down the track when we do have proper systems, as migrating from one to the other would cause significant issues - and we don't want to provide a band-aid work around that in turn breaks a user's character sheet.
Thank you for providing feedback though - We do review this, and it gets tagged and added back to internal boards along with the other feedback channels.
I know it's more than a month late, but thank you very much for the response to this. What I would like to see is a way to be able to transfer items between characters in a campaign, especially items that you've tagged as having an Artificer infusion, even moreso if you decide to remove the infusion it automatically updates on the other character sheet!
That's just wishful thinking, though. I know it would very much take a ton of jerryrigging but would be absolutely amazing if it could be pulled off!

For campaign purposes, I don't think it's wishful thinking at all. There are many mechanics on DNDB that need addressing, and this is just one of them. Hopefully those teams will continue to improve upon this product and not do like google did (just stop developing).
I know it's late (about a year) iff at the very least characters in the same campaign could infuse each other's items would be great!. Still having to use the workaround where I tell my friend to just "add a +1 to damage and roll" on their weapon while I track it myself is....ok, but would be even better if DnDBeyond removed their "+'s" if I chose to infuse something else.
I know this is late (about a year after your reply) but a somewhat workaround is to give yourself a headband of intellect, the add 2 levels of artificer, add the infused item(s) to your character and then remove the levels of artificer and the headband.

There is not currently a way to “give” an infused item to another player, unfortunately. It will need to be tracked separately.

For now just have the paladin add +1 armor to their character and make sure it is noted that it is an infusion.

Yea this is what I came up with eventually as well.
