Hi DnDBeyond team,

I was creating a magic weapon that allows the user to cast a spell using charges. In the item creator there is a field called "CHARGE RESET DESCRIPTION", which I assume should contain information about when the charges are replenished/reset etc. This text should be displayed to the wielder (or at the very least to the DM), but at the moment it doesn't show up anywhere. I can only read it when I "Edit" the magic item, so there is no way for me to communicate this to my player unless I also add the reset description in the item description box.

Could you please tell me if I'm missing a tooltip somewhere that displays this information?

Otherwise what is the point of even having the "CHARGE RESET DESCRIPTION" field if it isn't going to be shown anywhere?

It won’t show up on the page for the item itself unless you also put it into the Description field, but it should show up on the character sheet. 

You can see for yourself with THIS, click the link and read it, then add it to your collection and give it to a character and you’ll see what I mean. 

That's how I tested. I gave it to one of the players in my campaign and checked all the possible screens in the character sheet.

I'll check with your item and one of my characters and let you know.

EDIT: On which page in the character sheet should I look? I still don't see anything except the text in the description.

When you touch the spells that it grants on the “Spells” tab it says it up at the top under the red button that says “Charges.”

If you mean the "Reset: Special" I know about that. But I don't get any additional info anywhere about what that Special means (except as part of the Description, which isn't the point).
