Hi, I have a problem and cannot find a solution. As a Forest Gnome I get the Cantrip Minor Illusion. As a wizard lvl 2 I choose the School of Illusion as my Arcana Tradition. With that I would become the Cantrip Minor Illusion or another of my choice if Minor Illusion is already known. Since I know Minor Illusion as a Forest Gnome, I should choose another Cantrip. But I don’t know where. Can anyone help? Thanky
This is one of the (few) places that DDB doesn't manage to automatically follow the rules. They've been working on a character sheet overhaul that I am hoping will lay the basis for fixing things like this. For the moment, the workaround is to create a homebrew feat that gives you an additional cantrip and apply that feat to your character sheet through the "manage feats" dialog on your character sheet.
So it's just a feat that adds a wizard cantrip? I mean it is definitely a work around that has beed suggested before, but hardly worth publishing. And only people with subscriptions can even use it, while anyone with 5 spare minutes could make a workaround themselves (which isn't even the point of bug report threads in the first place).
Moreover you spammed this in at least 4 different threads (some of them necro'd). Can a mod combine these threads so if someone tries this again, at least my time is only wasted once?

This is a very old bug. I suggest making a homebrew copy of the subclass to change the spell that way.
I added a homebrew feat to fix this bug.
