About 18 months ago, I returned to D&D after a very long absence - like hadn't played since 2e long. My game's DM was going through one online tool after another and I was having A Very Bad Day Already when he said "hey I'm going to switch from the thing you just learned how to navigate over to an entirely new technology stack for this week's game!"
I didn't realize that (1) this would end up being the last new tool (though I suppose he had to be running out of things he hadn't drug us through) and (2) there wasn't a way to manage your account name without having to publicly admit to - in a fit of pique - naming your account "****SoftwareDevelopers." He's a software developer, but I was also still annoyed at the UX on some of the other sites by the time I got to setting up this account.
May I please get a name change credit?
