The spell is unpublished, Davyd the Discord mod was able to replicate the issue on his own account. By homebrewing a copy of charm person which, also wasn't viewable by casters who prepare spells. (Same spell I started with). Now I'm trying to get someone with power to change things, to actually check this out now. Or at least acknowledge the issue.
Ahh ahh! There seems to be a glitch with spells templated off of other spells being on the wrong lists. Try remaking it from scratch and seeing if that fixes it.
Wanted to add a homebrew spell to a Druid Characters Spells Known in a campaign I DM for. When I make the spell and save it, it doesn't show up as an option.
I can make a new druid character and I can see it there. Anyone have this issue?
I have done this before with the same character previously. I have checked both private and public character, made sure content sharing was on as well as ensuring the hombrew content is selected on the basics of the character sheet.
Spell in Question is simply Circle of Death but with the added known spells of Druid (in addition to wizard, warlock and sorcerer. Any help is appreciated.
Public Mod Note
(MellieDM):
Merged to compiled thread.
I am having the same issue. I created two different homebrew spells for the druid in my campaign but he can't see them. The ranger in the party can see one (the only one that he should be able to see). I know when I created them several months back the druid could see them, but now he can't.
I double checked his settings to make sure homebrew content is enabled, I removed and re-added the Druid class in each spell, and re-saved the spell. Made sure content sharing was enabled (even turned it off and on just to be sure). My two spells are Find Real Traps and Beast Wrath.
All of the characters in my campaign can see homebrew items and feats but for some reason this druid character is the only one (so far) that can't see my homebrew spells.
I created a home brew 6th level spell for a new wizard subclass I made. The spell shows up in the listing in the add spells section of the manage spell tab, however, I get an error message when I click the learn button. The error code it gives me is “87e26740548b45a08c02973f2473337c”. This hasn’t happened with any other home brew spells I have made so I am not sure what is going on.
Hello everyone! Thank you for these reports, this is very helpful.
I can confirm that the team is aware of and investigating this issue.
As a short-term solution as the team continues looking in this, it does appear that making a new character allows those homebrew spells to be selected. Please note this is not using the "Copy" function, but recreating the character using the character builder. I understand this is not ideal, but until the issue can be resolved it is a method that you can use to keep playing with an affected character.
Thank you again for your reports, if anything changes or we have more information to share, myself or another moderstor will let you all know.

There may be a miscode with your spell. Please post a link to the spell so that the Moderators can look at it. It does not need to be published for them to see it.
Please do not cross post into that thread, it makes it harder for the Oath of Moderation Paladins to banish the Code Devils. I only linked it for you so you would know your not alone.
i created a brand new character and it allowed me to add and prepare the spell with that character. Seems my issue may be part of the ongoing issue in the thread linked above.
Hello again everyone! I'm excited to share good news so soon after my last post.
The team has implemented a fix for this issue of homebrew spells not appearing for certain characters that should have access to them. If the issue appears to persist for you, please try to log out and back in, and let us know if this doesn't help.

If there is not a miscode, this thread may have answers for you: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/67683-homebrew-spell-not-appearing-for-cleric-and#c11
