PHB says you should add five to passive perception if you have advantage on perception checks (granted by the shield). Apparently it normally does on DnD beyond, looking at other threads, but it doesn't for my character.
I wasn't sure if this glitch was because my passive score was already 20 with the observant feat, so I removed it and the shield still does nothing to my score when attuned and equipped. I have a periapt of wound closure attuned but no other fancy stuff, certainly nothing else that affects perception.
Edit: Just noticed 'wisdom' is misspelled as 'wisdon' in its description too, is it undergoing work ATM?
I can confirm that sentinel shield gives +5 passive perception and stacks with Observant feat. The problem probably lies with the fact that your shield is a homebrew copy (official shield does not require attunement).

Thank you for responding. Do you know why only a homebrew version would be showing up when I search for "sentinel shield" in the "manage items" menu?
Most likely nobody in your campaign purchased the DMG from this website so you’re DM homebrewed it for use.
