I know player maps are still in the process of being added and there may be some updates for those already there, but just wanted to point out that the player versions of maps in The Forge of Fury still show secret doors and traps, they do remove the room numbers but they still show stuff that should be hidden to the player.
I suspect that the "player" maps are whatever version is available from either WotC or the artist. IF they've removed the tags, but still show secret doors and such, that's likely all that's available.

Yes, you're correct - D&D Beyond is reliant on the source material being provided and is, in fact, restricted to using it.
Yeah this really kinda sucks :( I can't use these maps with my players now because all the secret doors are there.
Even if you take out the secret door symbols, they'll still know a secret door is there since it's shown as a passage branching off from a room or hallway and it has no door...
