I have several Homebrew Races created as Variants and their pages say "Remember, private homebrew is automatically shared with other users in your campaigns and does not need to be shared with the community for players to access." Yet my players can not see these variant races when they do character creation in my campaigns.
When I have tried to edit their characters sometimes I see the races and then other times I do not. Like right now, I can see the variant race and I am able to change in but yesterday afternoon I was not able too, even when I was creating my own characters.
Hi, I'm having an issue where the homebrew race I've entered isn't showing up as an option in character creator, however all 5 subraces for it are. How do I solve this issue? I've done my best to follow MellieDM's fix instructions and none of them have corrected the issue so far. I might be missing something but I'm at a loss as to what that is.

If all 5 subraces show up, then things are as they should be. Parent races can't be chosen as a race, only subraces. The official races have been assigned to groups according to their parent race, so it looks like you can choose them, but you really can't. Headings such as "elf," "dwarf" are really just "folder" or "menu" names, that give you access to the subraces, and you choose a subrace (like wood elf). While you can assign homebrew races to an existing parent race (e.g. you could assign a homebrew winter elf to the elf race), you cannot create homebrew race groups. This is one of those things that looks easy from our side, but is not easy to do from a developer's perspective. If you want to group your subraces, you have to start their names with the name of the parent race.
I'm having this issue

Homebrew Race Subrace is Not Available (Varient)

Fixed for me!!
