I was updating two of my homebrew fighter subclasses, but when i went to post the new updated version i was given the text above. I gave my subclass the required levels of 3, 7, 10, 15, and 18. When I was researching this issue i came across one solution where I could get rid of the error by giving my subclass a level 5 feature despite there being no subclasses in official content for fighter that have a level 5 class feature, I did this and the error remained. This is especially frustrating as I've posted the subclasses before, and when I was updating them I made no changes to the required levels. Anyways thanks in advance for any help :)
P.S. I also edited a wizard subclass and when I republished it I got no error.
Here's the link to one of the subclasses, there having the same problem so if you can see what the issue is on this one I'll be able to fix both. Remember it says that the issue is that I don't have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
There is a bug currently that is requiring fighter subclasses to have a 5th level feature. Obviously they should not need one. Just keep playtesting and editing and when they get the bug resolved you can publish it as normal.
When you added the 5th-level feature before, you must have not re-saved the entire subclass to trigger the system to check for compliance. It only does that when the main save button is hit. That’s what ArwensDaughter was trying to explain.
PS-If you are still editing a subclass, DON’T PUBLISH IT YET!!! You will save yourself and others a great many headaches if you wait until all of your playtesting and editing has been completely finished before publishing your homebrews.
