I have tried to make a new feat and item in the homebrew creation section which are not showing up for characters within an existing campaign. I can see these creations on character sheets I have created, but external players who have joined my campaign cannot see them.
To answer a few troubleshooting questions, yes, each character has homebrew enabled on their sheets. Each homebew item is listed and enabled on 'My Homebrew Collection' list.I have tried waiting overnight to see if there is a delay in it showing up, and still nothing. I have stopped sharing content then re-enabled sharing, nothing.
Again, it only seems to be a problem for players that have created their own characters and joined my campaign that are not able to see added homebrew creations. Characters I have created are able to select these homebrew creations.
Can you post a link to the homebrew item and the characters in question? You do not need to make the homebrew item public in order for me (or another moderator) to view it.

How are you trying to add the item/feat - is it through the character builder or the character sheet itself?
I had to create a generic equipment item in in the 'Manage Equipment' section of the character sheet, then create a 'custom item' that I edited with the description just so I can see it on his sheet somewhere. This only shows up in his equipment, but I wanted it to show up in his feats so it is easily referenced when checking combat abilities.
I am trying to add content that I created as a feat in the 'create a feat' homebrew section, but these creations do not show up on the players list when searching the 'manage feats' section, even when looking under the 'unavailable feats' section.

Try re-saving those homebrews and waiting about 20ish minutes.
