So for a workaround for the Eldritch adept feat since it was approved by my DM to use, I am choosing the option of the invocation of Eldritch sight which grants me detect magic at will.
I decided to copy the UA and remove the restriction on it so it is essentially a barebones feat then add the spell to it Detect magic,
After adding in the necessary information for the spell in options for the homebrew feat i saved it and added it to the character (i am using the manage feats option on the character sheet to test it currently).
When the feat is applied, it shows that i gain the spell detect magic at will, i can see it on my spell list to cast detect magic At-Will. but upon refreshing the character sheet, the spell option vanishes from both the Feat page and from spellcasting area. The only way i can actually see the option again is by removing the feat and re-adding it every single time.
Okay. Go back and make sure that the feat is set up correctly like this:
Add Spell-> Spell: Detect Magic. Ability Score: Cha. (This one may not be necessary) Cast at Level: 1. SAVE
Then add the description of the Feat and the Invocation to the Snippet box. Then re-save the whole feat.
Then wait a little bit (10-15 minutes) and refresh the character sheet and check to see if the description of the feat is appearing on the character sheet as a dead giveaway that everything has been updated and try it again.

The same issue still persists however from what you were informing me it seems like you were telling me to add an action as opposed to adding a spell. Or that i am adding an action that is a spell rather.
The feat itself as designed right now is using the Spell option under homebrew, selecting the detect magic spell and then the casting. Like posted in the original images, when it is first added, everything works properly and as intended. However after refreshing the character sheet the feature for detect magic (the spell itself in the spell list and on the Feat) both vanish
I specifically said “Add Spell” and gave instructions on how to make sure it was set up properly.
Hopefully a Mod can help you.
apologies i was assuming the add action is what you were saying as well due to the add snippet and everything. The test was still with the same results.
A “snippet” field doesn’t have to be for an Action. It’s just the text field that actually populates the character sheet with information. I said to put it in so there would be no mistaking when your updates went through because it would be right there in black and white.
Are you running any browser extensions, ad/popup blockers, or a VPN? One of those might be the culprit.

In regards to the snippet field, there wasnt anything actually available for the spell field hence why i was asking.
I don't think this has to do with any of those as i have the player app as well and the same thing occurs there.
I have made this same instance of a spell at will before and it did not have this kind of issue then. Not to mention it does not make sense that any type of pop up blocker or add on is affecting something on a website that when it is initialzed works perfectly fine, but after the page is refreshed the coding seems to not function properly.
Any pop up blocker i have does have dndbeyond as an exception as well (adblocker ultimate and just adblock)
It's because you have the "Is Infinite" checkbox selected. That checkbox is a bit of a misnomer - it's meant to only work with features that allow you to continually add spells to your character (such as being a Wizard and adding spells to your spellbook). Once you untick that, it should show up as normal.

did not change anything, I even tried using it as an Feat from level 4 as well. there is no difference.
