hello, i am trying to multiclass but I see no option for it in the edit levels section. is there something i am missing? still fairly new to dnd so all help appreciated. thanks!

All the way down at the bottom of the “class” tab of the character builder you will see an option to “+ add another class.”

i'm not seeing it at all....?

As long as they don't already have a combined class level of 20, yes.

Ok, so my Paladin is level 20 with oath of devotion, so can I not choose another class because of my oath subclass?

No. The reason you cannot choose another class is because you’re already 20th level. That’s the character level cap. If you remove 1 level of Paladin you could take 1 level in another class. If you remove 2 levels of Paladin then you could add 2 levels of other classes.
