In plain txt, or even smart txt like a word doc, that’s what it looks like. For webpages, it doesn’t look like that. That’s what gets shown to users, but that’s not what the computer sees when it looks at the code for that symbol, the code behind the symbol looks very different.
Although, that doesn’t look like html, maybe some other type of code though. I’m honestly not sure.
