I'm creating a sorcerer, and in class>spells>add spells, I couldn't find certain spells and cantrips listed in the PHB. They are listed as sorcerer spells on the full spell list (dndbeyond.com/spells), but they've been missing from the selection page. I've been working on it on and off for a couple weeks and they don't show up even when I reload or return to the page after closing it. Specifically:

Cantrips

• blade ward
• friends

1st level

• chromatic orb
• ray of sickness
• witchbolt

I think you have to buy those spells, or home brew it.

Not everything from the PHB is included as free content on DDB. Only the spells that were in the Basic Rules, SRD, and Elemental Evil Players Companion and free to access. Any spells that were published elsewhere, such as the PHB, or Xanathar’s, but were not published for free must be purchased from this website. You can either purchase the “Full Version” of the PHB, or purchase just those spells from that book a la carte.

Well the question is - do you own the PHB on DNDBeyond? The only free spells are from the Basic Rules / SRD.

I'm honestly curious why it is you thought that? The physical book isn't - so it would be strange for the digital version to be.
