I made a Kobold about a year ago and the race stats are not the same now in D&D Beyond as they were a year ago. Is this a glitch or are the rules now different from "Volo's Guide To Monsters" Pg. 119...?
Back then Racial Traits +2 Dexterity, -2 Strength, Darkvision, Grovel, Cower, and Beg, Pack Tactics, Sunlight Sensitivity.
Now Racial Traits +2 Dexterity, Darkvision, Grovel, Cower, and Beg, Pack Tactics, Sunlight Sensitivity.
Thank you for your time, Sincerely my two Kobolds, Blaster & Corzack.
Any kobold or orc that has the negative modifier will show that it is a kobold (archived) or orc (archived). You can change those to the updated races but new characters won't have those traits moving forward. If you want to incorporate those traits in, you can build your character as normal, note the final stats, and then enter the stats with the manual stat generation with the -2 on the strength/intelligence.

Or you could simply apply the -2 directly on the character sheet after inputting the stats normally.

There probably is an option for that but I haven't spent a bunch of time in the ability tab other than setting standard array or point buy so I wasn't sure. Knowing that you could enter in the stats manually seemed simple enough without verifying potentially easier methods.
You don’t even need to do it in the tab of the builder. Directly on the character sheet you can tap the ability score and either input an additional modifier or outright override the score.

Kobolds lost their -2 Strength in the last errata. Old characters are unchanged, new characters use the updated rules.
