I have created a homebrew race and a homebrew background, even a homebrew wondrous item. These all seem to display correctly on the character sheet.
The problem happens when creating a Homebrew weapon.
I currently have two attempts to make a "knife", and five attempts to make a "sword". The knife is a utility knife and should lack the thrown property. The sword should be finesse, not versatile. For the sword, I used "Modifiers" to "ignore weapon property: versatile" and to add "weapon property: finesse". But none of these modifications appear on the character sheet. The character sheet only displays the standard "longsword" stats without the modifications. I made five attempts.
Meanwhile, in My Homebrew Creations, an error warning tells me that the word "sword" is "Non-English language" that cannot be shared. (Ironic, since one attempt at the sword is called sverð which the database is fine with and lacks such a warning.)
Strangely, the "knife" did display the modified properties correctly at one point, but no longer does. And similarly, the "viking sword" did display the properties correctly, but no longer does.
I am at a loss. Possibly, the database is corrupted for these specific weapons? As mentioned, I tried to make different items, but the same problem happens. I even tried to create a different character with a different character sheet, and the same inability to display the modified properties happens.
On the character sheet, when I go to Equipment to Manage Equipment, these items appear in the list of available items to select, but their weapon properties display incorrectly.
Do they work correctly once they are actually added to your character sheet?
Ummm. Actually yeah.
In the Manage Equipment list to choose from, the properties of the "Sword" appears incorrectly (Versatile 1d10). But if I choose it, and it appears on my character sheet, then selecting the item from the character sheet opens the description window ... with the correct properties listed (Finesse).
For me this is good enough!
There still seems to be some display issue with regard to weapon property modification in the Manage Equipment list. And there is still that weirdness about the word "sword" being Non-English Language.
But with regard to an accurate character sheet it looks ok!
The "Non-English Language" warning. I wonder if this has something to do with creating an item, then deleting it, then creating a new item with the same old name?
The non-English language warning is a misnomer. It's actually complaining about a couple of things - the most common of which is an empty (or near empty) description box.

Indeed that was the case.
I changed the one-word temporary description to a full sentence, and the "Non-English" warning disappeared.

Of course I saved it. Many times.

For example, here are two attempts at a Sword (a finesse longsword without versatile).
