I've been having difficulties in publishing a homebrew subclass to the community.
I kept running into his problem:
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
I can't seem to figure out why or what I did wrong. I hope you can help me with this.
Any spell that is not in the SRD/Basic rules—including many spells in the PHB is considered licensed content. To publish homebrew, you can only use SRD/Basic Rules or EEPC spells.
You are welcome. The reason you can’t use licensed content for published homebrew is that someone else who hasn’t purchased the content might subscribe to it and it wouldn’t work properly or might even break their character sheet. I think they hope to eventually set things up so that is accounted for, but given everything else on their plate I’m guessing that’s a long ways off.

What spells did you add to the subclass?

PHB and Basic Rules stuff, none of them are homebrew

So even if I purchased the digital copy in D&D Beyond, I can't use them to publish homebrew content? Or am I misunderstanding things?
Yes, thanks Arwen. I made sure that all spells are from the Basic Rules and that did the magic.
Thank you, you maginificent person!
