I was doing a last pass over my cleric that I am working on for a campaign and I noticed that Drain Life spell had a 8d8 necrotic damage roll. Which I thought holy cow that's insane for a first level spell. Then I read the description again and noticed that it is supposed to be 1d4 necrotic damage. I thought odd, I'll look up the rules in the book. I searched and nothing comes up. I manually went to the Grave Domain in the book and noticed that this spell isn't in the Grave Domain clerics list. I thought, maybe a good old unlearn then relearn will fix it. I noticed that the spell is auto prepared for Grave Domain so I can't unlearn it. I can manually roll the 1d4 but I thought it was odd.
the 8d8 seems to be a mistake... it looks like it only does 1d4 to the the overall maximum for 24 hours, or at least that seems to be what the spell is intended to do.

Either which way, it’s Homebrewed so the only person who can fix it is the author. And if it was published homebrew that someone added to their collection then the old version would have to be removed and any new version the author made to fix it would have to be added. And, it’s still homebrew, so the DM has to approve it in the first place.
They partially pasted in the URL for this forum. The real URL is here. The subclass looks like it's not a homebrew, as the Features & Traits tab says 'XGtE' for the domain-specific stuff like Circle of Mortality. If it was a homebrew subclass, that info would be blank.
The spell is definitely homebrew -- the image of the spell description you've linked in your original post has a line that says 'Version: 1.5' -- that tells you that it's homebrew. If it wasn't homebrew, it would say 'Source:' and then the book and page number.
Ask people in your campaign, it must be one of theirs. I think if they remove it from their collection, you should be able to get rid of it. It seems strange that someone else's homebrew, even in the same campaign, could autoprepare on someone else's character sheet. So there might still be a bug in there somewhere?

Drain Life Spell Description
Please post a link to your character sheet so someone can look into it for you.
My suspicion is that it is homebrew belonging to someone else in the campaign.

I agree. There is no official Drain Life spell on DDB. There are many Drain Life spells in the homebrew section but none of them matches your spell.
