I made the items saved them my homebrew is on but I still can't get to my homebrew items in the equipment slot on my character page and why does the modifiers not show up on them even when I do equip it. This should be easy for a site like this or are there limits to what I can add to my characters.

After you make the item, there is a delay before they show up on character sheets sometimes. Also, when you are trying to “manage equipment” on your character sheet, if the “Proficient” box is checked, and your character is not proficient with that type of weapon, your homebrews won’t show up. Like a Monk isn’t proficient with whips, so your Magic Whip won’t show up.

As for the modifiers not working, after you add them, re-save the entire Homebrew. And if the item requires Attunement, then you have to do that after equipping the item.

Also check the first page of your character editor and make sure that Homebrew is toggled on for that character.
