You just have to tick off the spell slot manually whenever you want to cast it using a spell slot.
Yes, that's a work-around, but I've had other spells where I can use it as a feature from something (class or racial, and maybe even feat) where it appears as a "use" to use it from the feature, and also appears as a "cast" to cast the spell.

People complained about the clutter of having both so DDB cut the “cast” bersion since the spell slot can just be ticked.
The point of the sheet is to make things easy to track/remember.
What second-level spells can I cast using my 2nd level spells slots? Oh look, no misty step, guess I can't cast it.
Further, the wording of some features is occasionally unclear (not in this case). It helps to clarify things when the D&D beyond sheet has them as intended.
As it is now, your spell slot table is LITERALLY wrong. That is not an anti-clutter feature. It is a mistake.
There's other features that do this exact same thing and they have multiple cast options, it's completely inconsistent and incorrect for it to not show up currently. At the very least they could just have an option to turn it off if you really hate it that much.

Ah, interesting! I came here looking to see if this was a bug or a feature... As, like many others in this thread, I'd prefer one line for "Use" and another for "Cast" so that I can easily remember... I mean, if we're gonna talk clutter, then the Armorer Artificer's Thunder Gauntlets have both and option to attack using INT and one to attack using STR... Unless your STR is higher than your INT - which, as an Artificer, I don't see why you'd want that - no one would use that option (unless I'm missing something about that particular subclass feature)... If clutter is a concern, I'd have thought that would be rolled into one option, and coded to use the higher of INT or STR (like how a finesse weapon is coded to use the higher of STR and DEX)... Alas, it is what it is, I'm guessing they're not gonna change it back so that spells appear as "Use" (for the one-per-day option) and "Cast" (for the Spell Slot option)...
Please repair the feat "Fey touched", so it shows both the "At will/Use" and the "Cast" for the two spells you get. I read in another thread this was decided on purpose since people complained about clutter.
Sorry, that's not an option. The feat is described very clear and should be reflected correctly. How many people think now, that they can use Misty Step and the second bonus spell only once a long rest, because it was not "convenient" for some to have it twice on their character sheet? Then why not remove all lower spells from higher spell slots, since you can also just tick them off? Of course you will not do that, since it's essential for a spellcaster to see his/her options at all times.
I just had a huge discussion with my DM that I can only use the spells from "Fey Touched" once per long rest, because he agrees how the feat is written, but "the sheet says so". This is clearly a bug or wrong decision. If people want to have character sheets less cluttered, they really should not play a spellcaster. It's DnD and we LOVE our cluttered sheets.
Man, I'm so disappointed now for bringing people in this situation because some found it "cluttered" :(
People complain about the rules of the game because it clutters their character sheet? Please, it's DnD and we play it, because we like the rules and the cluttered character sheet ;) Also it's no solution to just tick the spell slot, since I can't "send" the spell to any VTT (eg Roll 20) when the "Use" was used.
It won’t help you to plead interactivity to Roll20.
For one thing, that’s only possible with a 3rd-party browser extension like Beyond20, and DDB recommends not to use it as it causes the Devs no end of headaches.
In addition, sending data from DDB to Roll20 is a violation of the terms of service you agreed to when you made your account. Technically DDB can cancel your account and rescind all of the licenses you have purchased without refund for your breaking those rules.
The DND Beyond support was friendly and explained the situation. The explanation that the correct implementation of a rule lead to "universally everyone hated this setup." I can understand, still other people want to see the correct implementation if the rules. But since there is the possibility to satisfy both user groups with an option, of course im not satisfied that there is no solution.
So hopefully the aim of the DND Beyond team is to satisfy the "veterans", who love the complexity of DnD rules as well as newbies, who are overwhelmed, which could be done by the simple option "Show spells at will and as spells using spell slots if a feat/feature allows to do so". Its really easy to implement, just add the spells "At will" before cantrips and also in the spell slot area. Why anyone would hate that I can't understand since it does not clutter the sheet but makes clear how you can use your spells, instead of memorizing all feats, class features, race features etc and so know how to cast the spells. As an option there is nothing to hate, just satisfy your users.
Let's see if they really consider it, since they told me my/our request is noted, but it would be very hard to implement (which I can't understand as a former web developer).

Just saying, I also just had this issue and would really appreciate this being resolved to list the spell in all levels as appropriate.
For my character's Fey Touched feat I chose Bless, which scales per level cast in a way that is additionally nice to be reminded of. It's also definitely confusing to have it appear on the sheet where if you click "Cast" it is blacked out until the next long rest, as if it cannot be cast using normal spell slots (same for Misty Step). If you can cast it as a regular spell, I'd rather see it listed twice than to be asked to remember how Fey Touched works, and also then remember how Bless scales (without the option to even see this on the sheet!). There are also definitely situations where if I was out of 2nd level slots, I'd like to see Misty Step listed in 3rd level slots as an option for a getaway.
I say all this as a DM running a 'heal bot' NPC member to round out the player party. Already have lots to keep track of! ^_^;
This needs to be consistent. Make the feat spells add to the spell list the same way as every other spell -- whether that's with or without the "clutter" doesn't matter -- just make it consistent. Otherwise it's wrong and confusing because logic.
It turns out, since MotM, the "Fairy Magic" Trait of the Fairy Race adds two casting options to the spell lists for Faerie Fire and Enlarge/Reduce - one that says "Use" (and is single use per Long Rest) and one that says "Cast" (and uses Spell Slots) - essentially "clogging" the spells lists again (and rightfully so! This is how the spells SHOULD be displayed)... But this is inconsistent with how Fey Touched Spells work - they STILL just show as "Use", without the second line for "Cast" to remind players they can use spell slots...
Pick one way or the other, and be consistent with it (preferably showing BOTH "Use" and "Cast" in the Spell Lists on Character Sheets - aka Fix Fey Touched). And, if possible, appease those who want to declutter by giving them the option to toggle that off in the Character Creator, because as it stands now, "removing the clutter" is NOT accurate, it doesn't reflect how the rules are written, and Fey Touched should display the spells exactly like Fairy Magic does.
It looks like the issue is that a "set" spell (like racial spells) can be easily added as both Use and Cast, but there currently isn't a way to do a "chosen" spell that comes with limited uses plus casting with slots, since it can't enforce the choice of spell being the same for both Use and Cast.

A. How about one "[ USE ]" button that turns into a "[ CAST ]" button after the first free use? Once the 1 free use is reset at a short/long rest, the button changes back to "[ USE ]".
[ USE ] --> [ CAST ] --> long rest --> [ USE ] --> [ CAST ] --> long rest... etc.
B. Or how about two buttons next to each other, and the USE button becomes disabled after the free instance has been spent.
"[ USE ] [ CAST ]"
Options A and B each have limitations, but are better than what we have already: as of right now, it looks like I can't cast the spell anymore after the first free use.
With either of the two options above, I'd still know immediately at a glance that I can still cast the spell.
The "remember it yourself" work-around means yet another thing I have to remember that works differently than DNDBeyond represents it. This increases cognitive load, confusion and likelihood of making a mistake.

1. On option A, that's not a proper fix, as you don't have to use the free use first (and with the new spellcasting rules, there's actual incentive not to in some cases). 2. That would also take a lot of extra coding in either case.
Checking back in on this... on my character sheet now I have two instances of Misty Step (use/cast) but only one instance of the chosen spell (use [Dissonant Whispers]). I share the frustration of other users that the inconsistency is the biggest problem. We are conditioned to look for the cast button on spells like this by our class features, which work perfectly for Divine Smite and, for example, the Guiding Bolt from my Circle of Stars. It's wild to me that the website designers took the feedback of "cluttered" and translated that into a broken display mechanic, instead of thinking critically about the UX.
