So this has been a source of immense frustration. Given the new Custom Lineage rules from TCoE, the players in my new campaign want to make their own custom races, which I, as a DM, is trying to set up by making homebrew races. However, I have not been successful given that the homebrew race wont update in character creator. I made a new race based on the Human race, but realised I had made some mistakes and went back to the homebrew creator to fix it. Judging from the homebrew menu I was successful, however, when trying to choose the race when making a new character, nothing had changed. I tried several times to no avail, I even changed to name to no effect and ultimately deleted the race... It was still there in its original form in the character creator.
It seems like a bug to me, but I might be wrong. If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know.
After you change or add anything to a homebrew you must re-save the entire thing using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button located under Basic Information to trigger the system to pick up the changes. After that, it can take up to 20 minutes for those changes to filter through to the character builder.
Ah, I suppose the issue was patience then. I will have a look in half an hour. It is just strange that the race shows up immediately, but changes take so long to manifest. Thank you for you reply, I will update the thread if anything happens.
I've been having that same problem. I've created the same race 3+ times, trying to get it right but giving up since it didn't update correctly. Hopefully, it's my lack of patience as well. Lol

That actually did it! Thanks again.
Yeah, I know this thread is dead; what of it?! :P
