Hello all, I am creating an additional spells table for one of my player's sorcerer's but not every spell I put in there is showing up on my spells list. On all of them I selected the spell, input sorcerer, yes for consumes spell slot, no for counts against known spells, yes for always prepared, and the appropriate level for them to learn it at. That's all I have listed and for 7 out of 10 spells it worked but for three others it didn't. Any suggestions? I have a master subscription so my players can access all of my data.
Well, that depends on which spells aren’t showing up.
Also, you can leave “always prepared” blank because Sorcerers don’t prepare spells. And you can leave the class blank, that’s for if you don’t put a spell (or spells) in by name, and instead would want them to learn a spell from the “Sorcerer spell list.” And make sure you don’t put “casts at level” for when you want them to learn the spell, that would be at what spell level you want the spell cast.
So what I've figured out is that all spells are present when I create the character however when my player claims it in the campaign some spells don't show up. The spells are Cause Fear, Emolation, and Negative Energy Flood. Any thoughts on why this specific player can not access those specific spells?
Cause Fear and Negative Energy Flood are both from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. There's no such spell as Emolation so I don't know if you mean Immolation or Enervation but I presume it's the latter because Immolation is from the Elemental Evil Player's Companion (which is free for everyone) but Enervation is from XGtE.
If that's the case then it seems you either don't own XGtE and it's not being shared - or your shared content list isn't updated (turn content sharing off and on again) - or your purchases are not in sync (go here to check/resync: https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace).

Are you using the official Xanathar’s versions of those spells, or are you instead using homebrewed copies of those spells?

I was using official. I updated the shared content and it seemed to fix it. Thanks y’all
