I want to change the e-mail address under "Account > Email Preferences" and it seems I'm not able to do that. There is only a button to opt-in/out and some checkboxes regarding what I want to be e-mailed about but no option to change the said address.
If it helps "debug" the issue; I'm using a Google account and I do not want to use a Twitch account.
How can I address this?
[EDIT:] I even tried linking a Twitch account in the hope the e-mail address would change; it didn't.
I’m not sure that’s even possible. I know we can’t do it as users, your best bet is to contact Customer Support, but do not submit multiple tickets, and be patient. Support is super backed up at the moment because of theTasha’s Cauldron’s release, so it will probably be more than a week before they can even tell you if it’s possiblez

From what I understand, if you used a Google email, that can never be detached from your account because of DDB’s terms of service agreement with Google to use their authentications.

The thing is, my google account and the email address under Email Preferences are not the same. That's why this is odd.
Hence the “tell you if it’s possible” line.

The solution was to open a support ticket. Took a while but the problem was solved. :)
