When I look for a potion of healing on the item list, they appear under the gear list but not the potion list.
Potion of climbing, another common potion DOES appear on the potions tag, but the regular healing potion doesn't.
That’s because, even though they are magic potions, you can find Potion of Healing listed in the PHB as a type of basic equipment. Therefore DDB must also list them as such.
