Hello,

I seem to have broken the "Extras" tab on one of my wife's characters.

Whenever I click "Manage Extras" on the extras tab of this character, I get an error:

Oh wait, I may have made an assumption that I broke something...it seems like the "manage extras" button is universally broken at least on my account.

I have gotten the impression that they are fiddling with things to make the changes to Artificer pets work corpse it can actually pull the Character PB for those monsters moving forward. (It will also apply to other new/upcoming subclass pets as well.) Assuming I’m right, everyone just has to be patient.

I had the same issue. Ive been about a week now. I hope they are close to making it work again. Trying to attach something to my friend's character sheet in our campaign

I have not had a problem adding creatures to Extras. Subscribers have a slightly different version of the character sheet, at least we used to. That’s so they can use subscribers as guini pigs to test updates since it’s a smaller sample size and we’re “invested,” so we’re not likely to bail on them. If none of you are subscribers, you may consider picking yourselves up a 1 month sub until this has blown over. Just ann idea. And if you are subs then I dunno whasup? 🤷‍♂️

Look through your homebrew monsters for any that don’t have an alignment entry. If they are your homebrew, edit them to add an alignment  if it’s homebrew you added from public homebrew, remove it from your collection  if it is homebrew from someone else in your campaign, ask them to fix it

 This was exactly it, and my original instinct was correct that I had broken something: I had just created an entry designed to let my player track their abjuration arcane ward more easily and didn't fill in any fields that werent marked as required.

Unquestioningly a bug then, at minimum alignment needs to be marked as a required field in the homebrew creator.

Yeah, alignment was never required before, that’s new. (I bet that wasn’t intentional since the [Tooltip Not Found] and the [Tooltip Not Found] are specifically without alignment.)

It really only takes about 20 minutes to create, doesn’t require nearly as much jankiness as tracking it by way of an Extra, and doesn’t require adding anything extraneous (like a feat or monster) to the character sheet. Once created it will be available for your use forever, and swapping the character’s subclass to this newer version takes 2 seconds and won’t affect anything else for the character so it’s a safe fix too.
