This is a question, but also a request. Any plans for the official material Wizards published on the internet about Magic the Gathering? I'm talking about DnD material referring to MtG's planes. There are also now two new adventures that could be in DDB.
that'd be cool, but don't cross your fingers ...there's numerous adventures published by WotC that aren't on DDB. Maybe the popularity of MTG will compel them.
The planescape material was published by the MtG team, not the D&D team, which is the biggest stopping point. DDB has said before that it won’t host material WotC produced in that manner, it doesn’t count as official D&D content. Yes, they host 3rd party content, but pretty limited and more obviously 3rd party than that would be.
Staff have also said that the decision to include the Planeshift articles or not is up to WOTC, and that WOTC has not given them the green light to include them.
i'm not talking about just planeshift, plenty of the early AL modules were published by WotC, as well and oneshots like winter's splendor. I don't think any of those are less worthy of DDB than one grung above or locathah rising.
But I personally would call it a win if DDB just unlocked all the official (what you guys are calling 'official' anyway) content that WotC actually makes available for free - like death house (i find it weird that they unlocked frozen sick when i'm pretty sure (although wildly guessing) that wildemont is significantly less popular than strahd)...and monsters like the umber hulk which are locked on DDB.

It's important to remember that it's not exclusively D&D Beyond that decides what content is 'unlocked'; Wizards of the Coast's decision is part of the equation.

The other 3rd party stuff they hosted was on the site for like....2 weeks? Really odd stuff.

Now, the WotC own DDB, is this possible?
Since WOTC was who said no to including it here in the first place, I doubt it.
