I just lost two (wait, is that the time?!?) four hours work because I couldn’t save something and my page refreshed to update DDB’s client side stuff. Please, oh please, a [SAVE] button a [SAVE] button, my shattered teeth* for a [SAVE] button.
Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
If you're going to spend multiple hours drafting a forum post or private message, it would be advisable to instead write it in an external text editor and work on it there. The forums aren't designed for posts of that scope.
On another forum that I use, I believe their the site saves whatever I type onto my browser automatically, so I do not have to worry about losing progress on a long post. There is also the option to preview the post so you can catch any formatting errors and fix any mistakes. While I would not say these are super necessary features compared to more pressing priorities elsewhere, I think they are nice and convenient quality of life features for the forums.
