Something to consider though - if you get a cantrip from racial selection, you should not be able to select it again when choosing cantrips. That is what I did wrong (thinking I had to select ALL the cantrips I had), and it allowed me to select it in both the racial section and the spells section. And it included it everywhere as if I had learned it twice.
I had noticed that at 6th level, I should have 5 cantrips, but only had 4 (because booming blade was selected in two areas). I fiddled a bit and realized what was happening.
If you have a cantrip from your race, DO NOT select it in the spell selection area. It will appear on the sheet where it is supposed to, but the racial cantrip is NOT part of the normal spell selection.
I was using the Spells search page to find the lowest spell level to inflict each condition and I noticed something odd. With my only filter as the blinded condition, the color spray doesn't show up. Likewise command isn't listed as inflicting prone; instead they both have a listing of "Control", which seems more appropriate for spells that lack condition-based effects.
I can see your point with color spray, as blinded is the main condition listed in the spell, it should be in the effects area.
But, command has too many other possibilities, the vague answer is probably better than specific
We actually want to include any possible application of a condition, so prone would be applicable. "Control" is a tag that summarizes, but we would still want the specifics.
Thanks for pointing them out - just oversights that we will address.
I Downloaded the PDF for Player's Companion Dark arts and was won over by the Hemomancy. Will you be adding that school of magic to DnDbeyond?
Given that the school you are interested in is homebrew—according to the author’s definition—it’s highly unlikely it will ever be added here officially. What you can do is create it as private homebrew. Since you didn’t create it, you can’t publish it for others to use. (The original author could, assuming it doesn’t violate the rules for public homebrew here)
Are there any plans to be able to toggle inclusion of homebrew spells (and monsters and magic items) in the listing? It's very inconvenient to have to manually search through my homebrew collection, since I can't use the same kind of filters as the main spell menu.
Ex: I have a bunch of homebrew spells related to conjuring/summoning creatures, but if I want to create a reference list of all possible summoning spells, I have to first check the official spell listing, which is relatively easy to do with filters, then scroll through my entire homebrew spell collection (which is currently 11 pages!) listed alphabetically to make sure I didn't forget any homebrew options. What's the point of having tags on homebrew spells if you can't search them?
Also, the option to create custom tags for private homebrew would be really great, if there was a way to search them. I would love to be able to tag them by source, campaign setting, etc.
Sorry if reposting. I noticed that the Spell Sniper feat for CHA based spellcasters allows me to choose spells not available to my class?
PHB states, "You learn one cantrip that requires an attack roll. Choose the cantrip from the bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list. Your spellcasting ability for this cantrip depends on the spell list you chose from: Charisma for bard, sorcerer, or warlock; Wisdom for cleric or druid; or Intelligence for wizard" when viewing the PHB on here.
But in the character features tab, it says, "When you cast a spell that requires you to make an attack roll, the spell's range is doubled. Your ranged spell attacks ignore half cover and three-quarters cover. You learn one cantrip that requires an attack roll from your chosen class spell list (CHA is your spellcasting ability for it)."
Maybe just the wording is confusing me, but the character sheet reading makes me believe I can only select Sorcerer spells for this feat when I'm a Sorcerer. Is that how it's supposed to be or can I really select a different class' spell?
Also, would love to have added TAGS of sources added to spells (and items/abilities/etc), like how right now there are tags of what type of spell it is. Being able to sort by source or these tags would be incredibly handy, especially with AL characters.
Sorry if someone else already pointed this, but I am missing excluding spells from a certain class. E.g. a user is looking for a Sorcerer spells but without spells that are also on a Cleric list.
That could look like a small button with a red cross under each class. After the click, it would add a prohibition sign on top of the class above the button.

Thanks for the feedback. I got it figured out.
