I'm new here and I know it has already been tackled on these forums, but I figured I would ask just to see. I like and prefer spellpoints when running my campaign, and it would be very appreciated if it could be added to the D&D Beyond mechanics somehow. If anything at least this request is seen once again.
My players requested that for our upcoming (next year) campaign that we use a spell point system. They had some additional codicils to it, so I couldn’t use the exact format given in the DMG, but I built a custom set up for it.
given I am planning to run an “open game” (that is, anyone can join) here on DDB, having that option would allow me to really add to the very different nature of the setting.

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.

I would love it. IMO, the spell point system is the best way to run a Sorcerer.

I agree. I had to use a custom table for the warlock, but my guys love it for the versatility.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB
