I submitted a new sub class about two weeks ago. I have not seen anything about it being moderated or any updates. Is the moderation process taking a lot longer these days or what? Are there just too many people submitting content in moderation is kind of on the back burner? Just would kind of like to know what’s going on.
I have 13 creations currently waiting in moderation the oldest of which was made 17th May so the current wait time is up to a month.
I believe they have been having meetings about how to improve this.
Nothing stops you using your creation in the meantime while you wait.

At least make it so that other members of a campaign can view the homebrew page. Sure, you can use them in the character creator, but that's not the best format for reading.

You don't have to publish homebrew in order for campaign members to see it (except for monsters)

I have a homebrew magic item. I have a second account with a character in my main account's campaign with content sharing on. The second account can add the homebrew item to its character's inventory, but it can't view the actual homebrew page.
The homebrew page cannot be seen by anyone other than the creator until it is published.
However, other people in your campaign can see the homebrew through the builder and add it to their character. There is no functional difference between viewing an item in builder or viewing it on separate page : you still see everything it is and does.
Also, why do you have two accounts? You can have multiple characters in the same campaign. Or are you just trying to bypass the 6 characters limit so you don't have to get Hero tier?

Except that one is a full-size page, and the other is a tiny column. Do you browse the rest of the internet with your browser reduced to 1/5 the width of your screen? No, because it's a pain in the neck to read like that. You want to use your whole screen.

For testing issues like this. If one of my players tells me they can't see something, I want to determine if it's a DnDB issue or a PEBKAC issue. It's also the only way I can see what different resources cost on the Marketplace, as my main account has already unlocked everything.
Hm... I have campaign sharing on in my campaign, and I can link my players to the item or spell's page as if it were published, and they can see it, as long as they are logged into their account (which they have joined the campaign with). I do it rather often, actually!
All detail pages for private homebrew (excluding monsters) are now accessible to players in your campaigns. We had originally done this only for Races and Subclasses, but have now opened up accessibility to Magic Items, Spells, Backgrounds, and Feats. We can do monsters as well, but thought that more DMs would opt to keep those hidden versus visible, but we can quickly change that should feedback dictate. Once we deploy the Source Management feature, monsters will be opened up as well, as the DM will be able to toggle accessibility on everything.

Hah! I knew it.

There is a lot of work for the moderators with homebrew.
So there is a lot of submissions they have to plow through.
Remember that you can use your homebrew in your campaign.
Only time you need to submit, is if you want it public.
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.

Yup, as said many times, there is zero need to publish homebrew if it's just for use in your own campaigns. :)

Then what's going on in the screenshots I linked above? https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback/18841-moderation-issues?comment=6
Was that an item your players in your campaign cant add?
We have no problem to use eachothers homebrew in our campaign without making it public.
I have made a "Lamp of continual flame" that got rejected.
But we can still all use it.

As shown in the screenshots, that account can add the item to a character, but it can't view the actual item page.
The waiting time is up to 5+ weeks now. It seems things are getting published much slower as well.
