I'd love to see a bit more control, or organisation in the actions section. Being able to put things like Battlemaster Maneuvers or Arcane Archer shots in the Actions section, or the monk Ki abilities into bonus actions.
It seemed cool to hear about, but in practice, it's just like printing it out. Before, I would keep the sight open because all of my items, spells, character details, and stats were organized quite simply. Now, I look at the sheet and think to myself 2 things. 1 - should I just print it out? I don't want to waste paper, but this isn't much better 2 - Can we just get an option to turn it back to the old look? and sometimes, a 3rd option comes to mind - 3 - Why is AC a stat now?
Is there a way to get the full Desktop version in the iPad's browser? Even enabling desktop mode within the site on Safari, Google Chrome, and other browsers for the iOS shows everything as the segmented version with having to use the menu to go between information. I would prefer to be able to see everything in one page.
Thank you for the fix on gnomes with minor illusion. its so much easier in the spell section than hidden elsewhere on the sheet.
On the printed sheets, for those of us with game locations that lack wifi, the radio boxes to indicate proficiencies are no longer filled in. Saving throws have a tiny dot and regular proficiencies have a P in the box. I can play from the PDF without wifi but for the dots that I can barely see
How do I handle a warlock’s Book of Ancient Secrets?
I took a common book, renamed it "Book of Shadows" and dropped its weight to 3lbs... which is fine as long as you never carry any other books because they will also be "Book of Ancient Secrets" 3lbs... or you can have your GM make a custom item for you to do the same thing better. Though having a "Book of Shadows" and "Book of Ancient Secrets" as pre-made items in the system seems like and easy fix.
The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
I can't find how to manually adjust Initiative bonus now. Used to be, you clicked on it. What am I missing? We'd done a manual to adjust a player's feat we could not add as it was out of order and I'd love to add the feat to their sheet, but I can't remove the original boost.
Love the new sheet!!!! .... but...... I had a previous thread about inventory that still applies so instead of writing the whole thing again I will just put this link!

I am okay with the revamp on PC. That said, I primarily use the sheet on an iPad Pro. Currently, I find the new revamp infinitely more cumbersome on said device. In combat, I need spells and feats and HP. That is currently on THREE separate screens. There is plenty of space in the sidebar, please use this space. There is absolutely no reason I should have to keep toggling back and forth, back and forth when it used to be a slight scroll.
Really like the sheet and the new customization features (freely add feats, actions etc). Is there a way to hide Unarmed Strike again? That seems to have been removed from preferences.
Looks really really good. You made D&D Beyond a hell of a lot better with this design. I finally feel like I can whole-heartedly recommend this to my 'newbie' players, since it's much easier to find things since you eliminated all the nested collapsing.
I've only found one bug - my Druid doesn't have 'Druidic' as a language showing up in the 'Languages' pane by default. HTH.
I really like it so far! One issue though: my Pact of the Tome spells are no longer showing up anywhere.
EDIT: My darkvision range is wrong now too, actually. As a yuan-ti, I have a 60 foot range, and I have the Devil's Sight invocation, so it's supposed to be 120 feet, but the sheet seems to have added them together to give me 180.
I and my players have all played off our phones and we loved the old system due to how well organized it was. Every one of my players has now offered up the exact same opinion. The mobile version (and to a lesser extent the desktop layout) is confusing and so much less intuitive than it used to be. It is difficult to find specific things, and limited use abilities are no longer together in one place to allow for easy strategising. You have made things much prettier and its nice that you got rid of the collapsibles, but you did it by sacrificing ease of use.
A new player who I was directing to your site just this morning to build his character because he liked the layout and how simple it was, took one look at your new character sheet and said he may as well just print out a basic sheet. Your's used to be easier to use, but with this new change, he doesn't feel like it's worth re-buying content that he has in book form just for an equally confusing layout.
After reading through a good portion of this forum, there seems to be a general consensus forming that while this new change is good for desktop players, you have relegated your phone and tablet players to a much more cumbersome and far less user friendly experience than it used to offer. I understand that 70% of your players are on desktop, but please don't alienate your mobile users. I used to talk up this site to everyone I knew who played, but now...it just feels disappointing.
I'm posting a bunch of bugs over in the other thread, but overall I really like it. One thing I noticed was that when I tried to change the character's name, I couldn't find a way to do that without going back into the builder. A lot of other stuff has become easier, but having that would also be very nice.

Ah yes! Now that I've seen the desktop version, I'd love that on my tablet. Perfect for landscape mode iPad.
The design is visually better, but it doesn't work nearly as well on my tablet as it used to. In landscape it appears that it is much more difficult than it used to be to view my attacks and my HP on the same page. Or to be able to put it in to desktop mode in order to see everything like I can on my desktop. Also, some of the Monk information isn't showing up in the proper sections anymore.

I already done this, for both books. I had thought that was one of the things that was going to be addressed by the revamp.

Book of Shadows was working before the update so you didn't need to make an item. Regardless I also thought the Book of Ancient Secrets thing was going to be addressed by the revamp.

Just tested it, when brought to 0 HP, there is no asking if an Half-orc wants to use Relentless Endurance. Same with the Goliath's Stone’s Endurance.

I would of liked to see the option of skills without the attribute bonus. So you can use the skill with different skill.
There is an option to fix a skill to a different attribute. But not to use them ad hoc.

Would there be a way to have the state of the sidebar persisted across page loads? So if I have it fixed, when I refresh, it will be fixed again.

Old school knowledge / without all the baggage
