I would love to have an "All" tab under spells. Especially at higher levels, I'd like the option to just scroll through all of my spells instead of going level by level. Would also make it easier to work with the filters.
I agree, I do like the new look when using a computer with a large resolution but when using smaller devices it just gets too messy and confusing having to keep swapping in-between different tabs. At least you could just scroll through your whole character and find stuff with out opening & then closing tabs to find stuff on smaller devices.
I still love the system but not sure about forcing this change on everyone though, would be nice to be able to choose the style for different devices played on.
Really great stuff, loving the new character sheets! The only thing missing is the ability to add or subtract money, similar to how you can with HP or XP. Right now, whenever I gain or spend money, I have to go and calculate how much I will have afterwards, and then set all my coins to the new value. I just want to be able to say "I gained Xgp and Ysp" and have it calculate everything for me.
I and my players have all played off our phones and we loved the old system due to how well organized it was. Every one of my players has now offered up the exact same opinion. The mobile version (and to a lesser extent the desktop layout) is confusing and so much less intuitive than it used to be. It is difficult to find specific things, and limited use abilities are no longer together in one place to allow for easy strategising. You have made things much prettier and its nice that you got rid of the collapsibles, but you did it by sacrificing ease of use.
A new player who I was directing to your site just this morning to build his character because he liked the layout and how simple it was, took one look at your new character sheet and said he may as well just print out a basic sheet. Your's used to be easier to use, but with this new change, he doesn't feel like it's worth re-buying content that he has in book form just for an equally confusing layout.
After reading through a good portion of this forum, there seems to be a general consensus forming that while this new change is good for desktop players, you have relegated your phone and tablet players to a much more cumbersome and far less user friendly experience than it used to offer. I understand that 70% of your players are on desktop, but please don't alienate your mobile users. I used to talk up this site to everyone I knew who played, but now...it just feels disappointing.
For your limited uses, are those not all in the Actions section of the sheet? For me that has replaced limited use / features very well.
For the most part, the revamp is quite lovely. The only big issue I have is as Circle of the Shephard Druid, my Spirit Totem is no longer able to be marked as used for the day (or short rest). Before I was able to mark it used and would auto regen it when I rested. Now I just have to remember that I've used it (which can be difficult over a few sessions).
The only other thing I see that I would like changed is the ability to see all my spells instead of each level separate from each other. (only cantrips, only level 1, etc).
I really like the revamp. It is very well done, it will allow our more out of the box DM to really take the games in his own direction.
I have seen one minor problem. War Priest is not calculating the bonus attacks correctly. Right now, this feature is based solely on the Wisdom modifier.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once).
Speaking of witch, The website is not following the multi-classing rules.
Disappointed, I used the old layout because I didn't like the printed out one. Why can't be an option for how you want it set out as you already have the code for both?
Final complaint, why do the update on a Friday?? Threw the game off!

THIS! i love having the option to look at it by level but an all tab would be amazing!
I am also in love with the new filters on the spells, however i have a few more to recommend which would make my life a while lot easier
could we please get V S M filters in the spell section which you can include/exclude for things like when silenced or when my 18th level druid goes to use his beast spells ability and cannot provide materials
Also it looks like the option for CHA saves is not there but all the others are
Working with it more on a phone (it's how I play half my games), it feels like actions should be merged with combat and displayed below the attacks (keeping the economy filtering).
I was wondering if there was an option somewhere to return to the old D&D beyond layout? I understand that we use character sheets for this game but one of the reasons I was so on board with the product was because I like the 'This is not a Character Sheet' format. As someone who is relatively new to the hobby, I find the new format very intimidating and daunting. For example, prior to this my magic items were in a side bar as a list, each with a picture, their charges and a 'Use' button. It made it very easy to check and un-check the buttons during a session particularly for things that reset at 'Dawn'. Now I have to go to my equipment bar, search for each item individually using the finder, click them, un-check them, then close them. When you have 5 people at a table doing this, it is a bit of a pain.
I know I might be the minority here but this is a seriously radical change for me and my group. I was using D&D Beyond to avoid the Character Sheet.
Have to say massive downgrade in usability for almost all the folks I know that use it.
Between the three regular games I play I know a dozen folks that use it, only one uses a PC where this is an improvement. Two use it to maintain their sheet in and then print out PDFs to play and the rest of us use it to play live on tablets about 50/50 phones and tablets.
Several high res tablets (>full hd screens) which used to get the full interface now get the mobile version as a tiny strip down the middle. Force to desktop version and its unusable with the sidebar permenantly visible.

I second this! Having a list in level then alphabetical order would be great for an All "filter" (Order By level ASC, name ASC).
Overall I like it! Definitely an improvement on desktop and iPad, too, I think. I liked the old layout much better on phone, though.
Posted a few bugs in that thread, but the main one that really needs looking at is Life Cleric not having their Disciple of Life bonuses added. Rather an annoyance.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here already, but the mobile navigation system on the character sheet seems to crop out the top option when used in landscape, and because it's positioned as fixed, you can't access it in that mode. This is at least the case on an iPhone 7 Plus.

The Grey/Light Grey text makes it really hard to read certain components of the character sheets (especially against a white background). Please make it possible to change the color of the text or at least darken that grey.
When calculating AC, "additional magic bonus" does not appear to be included. "Additional misc bonus" works fine.
Same issue here:
Edit:
Received this js API error when trying to move it from Magic Bonus to Misc Bonus:
I can reproduce this error by setting a name for a custom armor before setting the value, gives the same error each time for any of the custom armor lines. I imagine it is caused by trying to set the null value as a possible armor bonus but it isn't accepted as a valid value for the server. Maybe setting the default value to 0 instead of null? Or don't send the request until the value field is filled out?
This is a horrible, shocking downgrade in functionality for people using tablets or mobile devices. Information is hidden, and involves a huge amount of clicking around to accomplish basic tasks. I use the desktop to build and maintain characters, but tablets to actually run them, and I don't know that I'll honestly be able to do that anymore.
It's more than a bit galling to have so many of the 'improvements' to the desktop version be completely the opposite for the mobile versions. This is slower, more difficult to use, and means that information is not 'at users fingertips' at all.

AC is armor class. Why are you asking if it's a stat. Armor Class is pretty important
Would it be possible to get "Disciple of Life" to adjust the hit points healed when casting spells such as Cure Wounds and Healing Word?

Also displaying the condition icons enabled / disabled just above the Attack table would be handy (above the table and below the AC shield).
