The moment I saw the pre-order notifications go up I clicked on the marketboard to check, and was quickly surprised / shocked when I didn't see the legendary bundle discount be applied. I made double sure to only click the digital products, put them in the cart to see if it would just apply later / once they're in the cart. But no. It's just not there.
Please tell me this is just a bug / oversight. Many people spent a LOT of money on the bundle, and to suddenly discontinue it's purchase without any warning was already bad on you guys' end, but now for EXISTING buyers to also take away the future bonuses ? It feels kind of like a scam. As another thread said, for some people those 'few' bucks makes the difference between buying or not buying the books. And honestly, if this is an intentional change it just puts a horrible taste in my mouth.
Please can someone clarify if this is a bug / just a problem for a few people, or an intentional change ?
I would also like to purchase the bundle (thinking going all out with physical and digital) but would be great if my legendary bundle purchase discount would apply (at least to the digital component). As of right now it's cheaper to buy each book individually with the discount (when you fix the issue of it not applying to the other books).
I assume there's no update on this? I'd like to order the full bundle (both physical and digital) but I don't want to have to deal with getting refunded for the Legendary discount that is missing.
It's been fixed. It's working for me. So if not working for you, you will need to raise a support ticket.

I see the Legendary Discount for digital orders. It lists the PHB as 25.99 for me versus 29.99. If you buy the bundle, then it is 76 so the legendary discount is working.
Please note that the legendary discount ONLY applies to digital only. If you get the physical + digital, then you do not get the discount as the digital discount for the bundle is better than legendary.
The discount is not applied to bundles; this has always been the case since bundles were launched. The discount only applies to individual digital purchases
So it is currently cheaper for me to pre-order the new digital core rule books separately and get my Legendary bundle discount than it is to buy the digital core rule book bundle? I thought the point of bundles was to save money?

Correct. And no, bundles aren't always there to save money. Some are simply convenience, or come with added incentives such as pre order bonuses

Seems a bit wasteful of a Marketplace addition then, and a little confusing. The concept of a "Bundle" historially gives benefits of both discounts and convenience (i.e.: the Phyiscal & Digital Bundle on DndBeyond) across the board.
If they are not offering a standard discount (i.e.: $5.00 off) on the packaged digital bundle, then why not just offer the Legendary Discount on it? No extra savings, just the convenience you're mentioning.
Any reason as a resident of Canada that I can no longer purchase digital books from this site to add to my legendary bundle and need to re-purchase everything again from the WOTC partner site? That is not going to happen.

Agreed - I do expect the discount to keep running, also for dnd 2024 etc.
I am the Ancient, I am the Land...
The Legendary Bundle discount should also apply to the 2024 Core Rulebook purchases, and we are currently working to figure out why it isn't.

Almost purchased them this morning, but when I noticed there was no legendary bundle discount I closed the tabs.
I didn’t see what you did there.

I see a discount on individual books but not the bundle. Confused!

I’m not sure if there were bundles when I bought the legendary bundle (I was super OG).
It said any digital purchase of D&D content would be discounted, I don’t think it specifically excluded bundles when I bought it! :o
(I bought it back in April 29, 2018)
Bundles are not digital purchases, they are digital + physical (combined/hybrid) purchases

There’s a “2024 Digital Core Rulebook Bundle” for $89.97 in the Marketplace right now though? Or am I reading it wrong?

I was referring to bundles as of their time of introduction.
Your right that there is now a digital only bundle, but given that bundles have always been exempted from the discount, that one is no exception
