Why is it that the Elemental Evil options for character creation appear on my D&D Beyond Compendium App but the website doesnt have it listed as a sourcebook?
because it's a free PDF content that has no compendium information.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I find it annoying that I cant filter it when it comes to creating characters. I can filter when I'm just looking for something yet it has a lot of content for it not to be featured amongst the source books.

Then go to the Wizards site and download the EEPC pdf. bam, you now physically own it because WotC put it out for free.

(A known issue is the dice rolled going under the roll summary on the bottom right.)
What I'd like to see is check boxes or a drop-down on the weapon line of the attack tab to add things like sneak attack to the same line. Right now, you roll damage dice in one place then scroll down to find your sneak attack dice button. That's a step I'd rather not take. In addition to that the sneak attack dice button is often under the roll summary so you have to minimize everything to click it.
The reason I say check boxes is because on one turn I'd like to use my short sword but usually I'll use my rapier. Being able to switch on the fly during my turn with just a check box to switch would make it fast and easy.
In summary, everything is in different places and blocked by things we need.
Something that would be very helpful is an update to the conditions tab. You could add buff spell effects with a tooltip on what that buff gives you. If you have it active it could modify your stats until it's deactivated.
A following feature for this could be a drop down or additional button to Cast on spells that allows you to automatically apply that spell's buff to yourself.
A way to just get it out without having to deal with the development of a complex feature like that would be to just allow players to create condition names. No dependencies, just a line of text that says "Blessed" under conditions. We could of course add a short text description like all of the other things on the sheet, but it would be a simple way to start the process.
You can use the Fighter class to accomplish that or as a quick fix for the Ranger: Instead of using the spell slots to cast spells, make them work like the paladin's divine smite with a different appropriate damage type, re-branding spell slots as marksman expertise or something. Doesn't solve everything, but it is a start.
I would like the ability to remove a base classes’ abilities, base stats (like hit point die and proficiency choices) and proficiencies. To make tighter subclasses. A fighter subclass of Pugilist that has a d8 hit points, loses heavy armor proficiency and perhaps indomitable is not a choice? Just add an ignore check box on all base class abilities. Of make drop downs for other changes.
Can the Bag of Holding just populate its own inventory almost like the attunement menu? I want to use encumbrance and be able to store coins in the bag.

You could turn off coin weight, if you're storing all your coins in the bag
encumberence is the bane of D&D. literally way too much maths to be done there. i mean anyone who played the old temple of elemental evil game from atari knows how much stupidity is encumberence. did you know that 2,000 pieces is already filling your bag of holding up. so basically, your party can never have more then 2000 coins on them at all times. i'm not even talking gold here, just coins in generals. that means they have to replace coins up by taking platinum if they want more space. that also means none of the hoards you make can be aquired in their entirety.
honestly, i wish they could simply make a switch for coins not to be added to encumberence. thats how i do it in my game groups, coins do not count toward encumberence.

There is an option to not include coin weight on DDB and many groups who track weight don't track coins either. However, removing the ability to do so from the game entirely, would be the wrong way to go.

If you turn off coin weight in DDB, they aren't added to encumbrance
Please give us the option to display things like Background, Background Feature, Backstory, ect in the shared version of character sheets. Unless we can already do this somehow...?
Like what's the point of writing a backstory and ideals and stuff if you can't show them to anybody?

Because most of those things should be explored in character via roleplaying instead of just "hey guys look at this 20 page backstory" (a little hyperbolic on my example, I know)

Can you add a non magic archer/gunslinger class?
A New DM up against the World
I think that's a request for Wizards of the Coast, not for DDB. DDB works like the bookshop, Wizards is seperate
whoops lol, thanks

Matt Mercer's Gunslinger is not a magical class. You can use that. Also, you can make a great archer with some specific builds of Fighter or Rogue.

May we live in Less Interesting Times
A button for easy counting down used ammunition would be much appreciated!
