buying all character option cost you the same as the book itself. basically the way they have set it up is, you get free content if you buy all the options.
don't believe me... let's take the PHB... - 29,99$ total, 4,99$ for the spells. 2,99$ for the sub races. 3,99$ for the feats. 9,99$ for the sub classes.3,99$ for all background options. let me do the math here... 5+3=8 then 8+4 = 12, then 12 +10= 22 then 22+4=26 ! thats only 3$ for the content which is normally sold for 10$. honestly at that point, just buy the whole thing. you get cool artwork, you get actual name ideas, you get lore. then there is the fact that buying a bundle gives you discounts for future buying.
i wanted to buy only the options long ago... but after calculating everything... its not worth it.
as for books they should add to that, i agree to that much... they should update the bundle. they haven't touched those for a long time. and the bundle is bullshit now that they removed xanathars and mordenkainen. my problem is for books like the critical role books, or the MTG books. those have no real doing with d&d, they are different settings. they should definitely not be part of that bundle. but they could make bundles for each settings. i agree to that much !
you're missing the fact that I don't want all the extra stuff. I don't care about value for money acquiring extra lore or settings.
as it stands, many of the classes, races, subclasses and stuff are buried across multiple source books, not included in the player bundle and it would be much nicer if there was just a way on this site to ignore the source books themselves and just purchase all the character-builder options in one go. including the critical roles bits. like search "character creation options" as part of the store front and pick which ones you want, rather than it all being gated behind a flowchart of book titles. you can purchase them as separate features already, why not make them groupable is my question really. it would be so much more convenient.
It would be nice to get a new class maker in homebrew. If not, at least let us override existing class features with subclass features so we can cheat our way to a new class.

I think this comes under the Generic feature system they're working on, which will overhaul a lot of the site mechanics
Feature request: In the character sheet campaign tab where you can see all the PCs in your party can there be an option to show their current HP like it does in the mobile app?
I too want this. In the meantime, I am uising the "D&D Beyond Campaign DM Screen" Chrome extension. Sadly Google removed it from the Crome store for violating their mysterious policy. Keep an eye out, hopefully it'll show back up soon.
Not sure if it's been mentioned I would like an index of all maps and artwork in the book. I rarely use the entire book but sometimes just like to rekey maps for my own game. And pouring over each book looking for the right map is a hassle.
As discussed in some of the recent dev updates, we now have a portal for you to share and vote for feature requests on D&D Beyond. Voting on the shared requests will help us prioritize the roadmap in 2019 and beyond.
Keep in mind this is one input - we will use the feedback we receive from all sources to make the calls on what we work on, but this is a great place to let your voice be heard.
NOTE: The portal is available through our support platform (Zendesk) and requires a registered Zendesk account to use. Please keep in mind that this is only one input that we use to prioritize the backlog and collecting information in this way works well for some users but not others. You can always post your feedback here on the forums and it will be reviewed as always.
It would be so helpful for those of us that enjoy discussing and debating rules with each other if there could be some way of viewing or navigating to a particular page number from the physical books.
So often someone will quote a page number and I'm left with only one response: "I use DDB, could you give me the chapter and section?"

Give Common Magic items a Font color like rarer items, instead of just the normal black of mundane equipment

edit: “Environment” already exists
~~Allow us to search filter Monsters by biome~~
Um... you mean, use the Environment box that already exists?
Yes! My bad. Thanks

Dark mode for the desktop site.
Please.
Allow us to filter magic spells by area of effect (cube/line/sphere…)

An index of physical page numbers to DDB sections.
Please bring back Unearthed Arcana

Any chance of support for the Spell Points variant in the DMG?
This is dead now after the WoTC purchase correct?
An "In Development" flag on homebrew creations that hides them from players in campaigns where the homebrew option is turned on.
+1, I've had players losing magical items since they were looking for color vs. the name
Id like to see a toggle by the AC window to click off/on the use of a shield.
