I have no idea if this has been said, but it would be lovely to have a place beyond the portrait where a full body artwork of your character could be shown. Maybe even a small gallery so you could show off how your character has changed after meeting certain level milestones (lvl 1 and lvl 5 and lvl 10 etc). I know this might not be super important to a lot of users but the users who do invest time/money into their characters would probably really appreciate having more than the portrait and the theme to visually define their characters.

I play less dnd than I'd like and listen to more dnd than I should.
I would like to request a simple fix. When selecting Superior Technique in the fighter class it only says "(your choice)" however when selecting the Martial Adept feat, the drop-down appears to select from the list. The same code could probably be copy and paste? In conjunction with that on the character pages a d6 mark off for use on both of the aforementioned abilities would be great!
Also posted in "What Do You Want Most in D&D Beyond" because I'm not sure which forum this request goes in. Apologies for the double post.
I would love a way to archive and retrieve my characters. I don't always want to delete past builds and My Characters gets cluttered up FAST. Archiving would hide them but there would be an option to reactivate or view an archived character.
I like that I can upload my own photos to Beyond for the characters in the campaign but I'd like it even more if I could have 3d model integration. The Heroforge models seem to be the standard a lot of players use so integration of HeroForge seems like a win/win for all parties involved. Beyond gets to add character model functionality and Heroforge gets traffic to their site and possible customers for the product.
Other sites for 3d models exist and additional functionality could be inserted to accommodate those sites as well. I used Heroforge in this example because of the programs popularity and ease of use.

Considering DDB isn't a virtual tabletop, what would be the benefit of the site importing a 3d model?
An added layer of immersion. Have the model in place of the standard character picture, and if you're subject to a sleep spell, your character model has the sleeping/face down pose. If you've just taken dragonfire to the face and survived, a 'burnt' filter can be automatically applied to the model, maybe with comical effect. In this age of twitch (which already has an additional overlay) and non in-person tabletop gaming, any additional way to add immersion is a benefit.
Couidn't that also be achieved by just having various pictures for each state or status you want to portray? I'm trying to wrap my mind around what having a 3D model would add over pictures, considering there's no tabletop to even display the models?
I would like to see some kind of confirmation on the set XP box in the character sheet (I use dndbeyond.com on my phone). I routinely put new XP values in the set box and delete my XP total with no way to recover. An XP ledger would be nice feature to have also (it would allow me to see/fix my mistakes and help everyone else out at the table who forgot to add in the XP the last session).
I would like a way to write and organize notes about the sessions that I run, and attach them to my campaigns. The DM notes option on campaigns isn't much to work with, as there's no organization to it, just a flat text box.
I don't want anything as frustratingly complicated or annoying to navigate as what World Anvil has... just a way to drop in and attach separated text that I can tag.
With this container update today, could we get the ability to set which container all our coins are in? Meaning I'd like to be able to dump all my money into a bag of holding and not be overencumbered.
Spell filter request: The current spell filter is nice but extremely limited.
It would be nice to filter by component requirements for situations where you're deafened or unable to do somatic components. It would also be nice to filter out spells that "require sight" or "requires hearing" so if you are blinded or the area is obscured you don't have to go through all of your spell descriptions to determine what you can still cast.
Even if you dedicate yourself to memorizing your spells, knowing exactly what spells you have available in those situations can be difficult and will eat up table time while you figure it out. A couple of clicks to apply situational filters can really help newer casters keep up the pace in combat.
In addition to the spell filter request above, it would be nice to be able to filter spells with material components to show if there is a cost to one of the components and/or if the components are consumable.
I would love to see a way to create weapons in the Homebrew section. Not magical or anything, just a way to start with a base die, add various properties (that could automatically +/- damage die size, or be overridden) and damage types. As it stands right now, if I wanted to integrate a weapon that does bludgeoning damage, is versatile, and has the thrown property, I have no way to homebrew that and have it actually work within a character sheet.
Also, double stamp the above comments on better spell filtering - and related, actually have spell components as searchable/addable inventory so we can add them to a components pouch container.
My friend and I were discussing this the other night, but we wish there was a place within the campaign menu to interact with players sheets like you can within the DDB app. Having the ability to see your players info on one screen, and access their details without having to have multiple windows open at one time would be great.
I have drafted up a mock version of what I had in mind. In essence, there would be a new button to view the characters tab like in the app, or even a button that meshed with the Chat Log button. In addition, an option to view a preview of the characters sheet on the campaign page as well.
I don't know if others would find this feature helpful, but I know after discussing it with my DM friends who use DDB, we agreed that this would be a beneficial change as too avoid having to open a tab or window for each character when playing to track and monitor them.
Please make homebrew containers actually work as containers. This is my #1 desire.
Please make Vehicles and Mounts also be containers because they are obviously able to hold stuff. A sailing ship should be able to hold all kinds of stuff. A horse can carry various supplies. A wagon can hold crates of weapons and foodstuffs and more.
Please allow containers to be placed inside other containers. I realize as a programmer myself, this is probably the most problematic of these three issues. It also happens to be the lowest on my wish list.

I agree on 2 and would like 3, but 3 will probably never happen. As for 1 while maybe not ideal, rather than making a customer item for a container you can just rename a container whatever you want, add a backpack and call it a 'Mule Saddlebag'

But yeah I mainly agree with 2

Backdrops:
* Allow solid color backdrops
* Be able to tint existing backdrops
And of course,
* Upload your own backdrop
In particular, with dark mode, many of the advantages of dark mode are defeated with a bright background.
