I feel like the struggle with the menus in particular may be due to the fact that there are so many people who get so many different things out of DnDBeyond. For example, I am a DM who has all of my content on DnDBeyond and uses it as a primary source when playing and prepping. Obviously the things I use are very different than say, a player who uses it for the characters. However, my use is still probably very different than, say, a DM who only has some content on DnDBeyond and uses it just for like quick rules lookups or such.
Now, here's the part where it might become obvious that I'm not a developer, and maybe I'm asking something that is already planned but is difficult and takes more time than an overhaul like this, and if so then my apologies for not realizing.
But would it be possible to have customizable menus? A way from people to make their own tabs and put what they want under them, or a tab that has no drop down and just goes to one specific place they use a whole lot. It would probably have to have a small button to bring up a mega list like the mobile list version so that you can't accidentally block access to any content. You would probably want a fixed 'marketplace' tab that shows what DnDBeyond wants to promote and I think that would be fine, but the rest could be moved around and customized at desire.
That would be pretty perfect. Then again it might be impossible, I don't know.
I like the change. On my iPad 10.5”, the submenus are in a single column, even in landscape mode, which is a bit inconvenient. Could they be made more responsive, like with the sources tab, which seems to cope fine with whichever orientation I’m in. It all feels very intuitive and I like the phone implementation as well.
Honestly, as a DM I would just like a power-page where I can access most of the common resources from a single click. See the layout of PFSRD: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/
On one hand-- that's not new player friendly at all, and definitely not a great default layout for anything short of Pathfinder which is a super developed system at this point. But as a DM who may need to look everything up... I know where everything is and it lets me really quickly answer questions my players have without need of messing around with search.
Even if just classes were laid out in the dropdown menu like the source books were laid out right now that would probably relieve a lot of the time I spend looking things up.

I feel like that's basically like the Table of Content of PHB :-) But anyway, maybe the upcoming DM screen would offer something like what you want.
I like the new Creations menu options however it now looks super ugly with all those blue and white buttons. Unless it's already part of the process, then someone on their 'slack' weeks will hopefully create some pretty little icons that represent each different type of creation so as to differentiate them more than mere text alone (like the Sources menu).
It is difficult to understand that the new menu is testing better with anyone. It is so large and takes such wide mouse movements to get to anything. Is there any way to make the menu themed and one of those be multi-tiered or in some way much condensed? I understand there is a lot of new information coming and it must be changed to accommodate the future and really look forward to that, just would like something a little more concise.

I see the menus are in force, but in Classes can we get the line break and Blood Hunter back? Mostly I want this because of the Artificer UA which I assume would be right above it.
Oh wow!! How upgraded the mega menu?!?! I can go striate to classes and spells by classes again... Ok then. This went from "aah" to "NICE!" pretty quick. Now if we can make backgrounds searchable by "Tool Proficiencies" … I mean when I make a scout that is not a rogue It would be nice to easily see if I get thieves tools from a background instead of going through them all. If that included options for instruments it might be useful to bards who want options.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
Hey I wanted to thank you guys for keeping the "choose a class directly" functionality. It was really important to me, and you found a nice way of making it work.
Noticed the new changes adding the more compact list views for classes etc. Now I consider the menu an actual upgrade from the old menu. Looks nice and retains quick access functionality. Thanks, nicely done.
I hope you try to optimize the content fetching speed of the menus further. The small delay is really my only remaining criticism about it. That said, it's not a dealbreaker now that the content itself is easy to access.
The only thing I think needs to change, and it is small, is the colors for the class icons in the Game Rules are switched around. They are inconsistent with all of the other color conventions used by DnDBeyond. An example is the Bard's icon. On the class listing here https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes and on the themes list on the character sheets, the (for lack of a better term) Bard's color is "Bard Rouge". On the new layout, under Game Rules, the icon on both the class list and spell list is green. It is an aesthetic thing, I know. However, making the color-coded references for classes consistent will lead to faster navigation.
Thanks for your hard work. Big fan of the product.
Great job on the iterations for the main nav. I'm really pleased to see that after the first roll out feedback was taken and new iterations rolled out so quickly. I appreciate that agility!
So I encountered an issue, I don't know you if yall caught. But when you select Paladin under Classes under Game Rules, it takes me to the list of Paladin spells vs the class details itself. Then I checked with other classes, and this happens to all the classes under the Game Rules. All of the classes on the left side take you to the spells. I think there is an error in your link paths. Otherwise I like the look of the Menus but I do feel that it feels more chaotic than before. But I am excited for some of the changes.

Well I guess we saw that at the same time almost :P
I'm also encountering that error. Confused the hell out of me for a bit. Especially when I managed to get to a spell list for Barbarians... You can still get to the class pages by clicking 'View All' then going through the next page, for those that are struggling while they fix it.
Not that I'm a mouseless user, but have you guys looked into enhancing the mega menus accessibility for keyboard-only navigation? Not sure if you guys are shooting for any specific ADA compliance level, but being able to tab or arrow-key your way through a well engineered menu can really be useful.

I would love to get the only menu back as an option. It's that or im going to have to break out GreaseMonkey

Every day I go click on the "Encounter Builder (Coming Soon)" link... some day... some day soon... it will take me somewhere awesome.
Also, super excited to hear that within the next year or so, there will be a lot more in the "Tools" menu.

Hi DnDBeyond!
I think I've found an error with the Game Rules menu options for Classes!
When you click one, you are sent to the Spells of that class rather than on the Page for that class.
* If this has already been mentioned earlier in the thread, I'm sorry for the repost!
